On-going trip and complaint!
Ha ha, just kidding about the complaint! But we are here and everything is wonderful. We are at the Renaissance and so far have mostly hung out in the downtown area and the private island. The Marina pool was very nice. Heading to Baby Beach or Rodgers Beach now and the Flying Fishbone tonight. We walked the beaches along the high rise also, from the new Marriott down to the pier. It is nice, not too crowded, but the whole areas seems...busy. We made reservations for Palm Pleasure snorkel cruise while out there. OK, my husband has one complaint; we bought apples at the grocery and the little stickers are the hardest to get off that he has ever seen. More to follow...(guess I need to re-set my countdown timer).

Well, we actually ended up at Baby Beach....rented a Cabana and chairs. It was wonderful. Partly cloudy, and sprinkled for about two minutes, which is alright with us. Mid-day sun kills us. We're back at the Ren getting ready to go out, Flying Fishbone (our first visit there) was beautiful. Sat with out feet in the water, an incredible experience.

While my wife is getting ready for our day, I'll add one thing she left out of the Flying Fishbone visit. We had to wait about 5 minutes at the bar for our 5:00 reservations. The hostess took our drinks on a tray to seat us and as we sat down spilled my Balashi (yes, I'm rubbing it in) right on her lap. I said it was like Garp buying the house right after an airplane crashed into it - the dinner was "pre-disastered" - nothing else could go wrong (I crack myself up). And it didn't. OK, off to the Palm Pleasure....
