    Hi all...here in Aruba(cindyo version)

Rob posted before,,,I finally got a chance to sit and use the family computer..

Great 3 days so far...going to MJ's tonite for that fabulous lamb. Hopeing Chef Kasi is there. We ask for him all the time but he never seems to be there, so maybe tonite. Bringing our bug wipes with us just in case.

Weather has been great. Bully has been available for us everyday which is also great. Meals so far, as Rob mentioned have been great ( Yep, Gianni's) and Passions a total disappoiintment. Waiter and Maitre D could have cared less that our Mahi and Scallop dinner was overcooked to the point of non eatable. So, ya know what that means, goodbye Passions. Servce great, food not so.

Been able to get those Palapa thingies everyday. Today, right on the water. Nice view. Watched the Black Pearl roll into the dock today and I must say that whole thing looks interesting. The only problem is it is booked for the entire week while we are here. Debating about next week doing it. We commented on that boat while it was docking and went on line to look it up.

Its hard to compare good and bad between the Renn and Surf. BOth has their good points and bad points. So far we are enjoying the hustle and bustle of this place and its masses of people. The only thing that is totally driving me nutso is the log jam in the lazy river. Jesh, some of those air craft carriers should be banned along with 10 people hooking up together..

Anyway, hope to catch up with Leslie and Scott at Scott's brats before we leave. Also met a really nice woman at the craft fair in front of Papillion last nite who just opened the 5 guy burger place. Small world as she is from Mypart of town in RI . She(rosey) also owned that Mad hatter Store and is actually friends with Leslie and scott. Anyway, it goes to show you its a small world.

Will try to post later, bye for now ! CIndyo

"So, ya know what that means, goodbye Passions." -- I gave up on Passions years ago... the drinks / ambiance are great but the food is sub-par.

"Watched the Black Pearl roll into the dock today and I must say that whole thing looks interesting." -- What looked "interesting" about the Black Pearl. We are struggling on deciding which sunset cruise to go out on this year.

I enjoy fish and meat equally, but lean towards fish when in Aruba. Based on previous experience, I wouldn't go there for meat....thought fish would be a sure thing....I was wrong. After a few more days here, I find Passions to be my one disappointment.

I just ate at Passions with friends in April (actually ate there twice during my stay.) It was my first night on the island and usually the only night where I prefer meat. Had a wonderful filet mignon at Passions - it was perfect. Sorry you didn't like it but, to each their own.

I went with the watermelon salad this time but I wish I had "room" to order both along with an entree. Last time I was there with Mike he got the crab salad and I got the watermelon salad so we could "share". Yeah, right...he did NOT share! LOL!!
