    Tuesday 8/11

Nothing too exciting to report. Went to the beach to get a palapa, walked up and down the beach a bit. Woke everyone up around 7:30 to go to the gym for Racquet ball at 8. Came back to the room to get ready for a beach day. I left early to get some stuff done at the room. I wanted to sweep & straighten up a bit. I get a little crazy when everything is out everywhere. Especially when I am up so early and walking around in the dark & step on snorkels or legos and walk into suitcases etc. I also had to check in on work & pay some bills. The boys came up after bingo and did some reading for their book reports for school. Took the big kids over to Jolly Pirates for a sunset sail with rope swing. The loved it and went to Moomba afterwards - which they loved. The rest of us went to Taco Tuesday at the Islander Grill. It was ok. We won't be going back next Tuesday. The big kids went to Glitz when they got back, DD is up $250 & the BF lost $200. DH & the little kids & I came back to the room and played a board game and laughed and totally enjoyed the down time together

She has, many times. This was different because there was no snorkeling. Just booze & rope swing. Different atmosphere and she really loved it. She said "It was SO cool, we had so much fun!"

Not a whole lot to report. Got up too early, went to the gym at 8, met Kent at 8:30 with a camera for me to borrow. Such a sweetheart! Went back to the gym and used more machines I've never even seen before and watched my kids & Rich play Racquet ball together. LOVIN the family time Went to our first owner's meeting at 10, came back to the room and made some sandwiches for everyone then went down to the pool for most of the day. Came back to the room to do payroll and transfer funds for work. Back down to the pool for bingo & frozen happy hour. Said goodbye to some of the friends my kids have made who are leaving today. Realized time is going too fast! Went to my mom's room for dinner - Chicken Cacciatore - yum!! and planned out a few things we'd all like to do - backside of the island, Natural Bridge area, Baby Beach, Quinta del Carmen, West Deck, Texas de Brazil, DePalm Island. Mom is up a few hundred in casino winnings. Brianna is up around $250. I'm down $8. BIG spender this year! lol

Enjoying your reports Jacki. I don't think there is any such thing as getting up too early in paradise (lol) a lot of times I get up peek out the window and it is still pitch black out, way too eager for my am walk How much fun is the monopoly game? I suggest that the libraries at all the resorts keep one or two along with the books for their guests to enjoy but don't see that happening (lol)

re: your doing payroll and other stuff for work from aruba. some folks are often quite critical that there are folks that are online/connected and take their work with them.

those folks must not understand that there are many of us whose jobs do not end just because we are out of the country. some just do not have a choice.

the employees are most grateful, i am sure, that you did the payroll!

continue to enjoy, we'll continue to read your stories and be jealous.

(down $8.............that is almost a win!)

    Loving your report...
So jealous. Sitting here raining and dreary. Reminds me of cold damp day in New England..
Good day to stay in the pj's and do nothing...
