    Love it!

    Thursday 8/13

Woke up too early - trying really hard to sleep past 6. I think tomorrow will be the day. Read for a while then went down to the beach to get a hut and read. Came back at 10 knowing the fam would be at the Islander for breakfast. Back down to the beach till 3 or so. Big kids went parasailing. Took my littlest to Super Food with me to pick up a few odds & ends. I don't usually food shop with the kids and forgot how much they tend to increase the bill! What the heck...its' vacation

Went to Texas de Brazil for dinner. Absolutely wonderful. Their service is always on point, the food was great. They've added sushi to the salad bar! The avocado sauce was amazing and all the cheeses - heavenly! The rest of the fam were impressed by all the meats of course. Not my thing. The salad bar only option is $25 and well worth it.

Came back to Glitz for a little while. I lost $20, Brianna was up then lost $100 at Black Jack & stormed out of the casino lol Other than that loss she's having so much fun. I'm so happy. We are all having so much fun. It may not sound it in my boring reports, but I could not be happier hanging with my kids and hubby and no cares in the world. I'm truly in paradise!

Forgot to mention we took Kent's camera down to the beach with some bread for the fish. The kids had a blast taking pics and watching all the fish. They found 2 star fish, one near the beach and another about half way to the rope. They brought them up to take pics and look at and then brought them out to the deep area so they would be safe.

My littlest also saw a plastic bag get carried to the ocean by the beautiful breeze and he swam all the way over to get it so it couldn't hurt the fish & the turtles! LOVE my kids

    Not boring reports... wonderful reports.
You had better service than we did at Texas de Brazil this year..... but was the exception this year... prev years was all good and we still like it.
Kudos to the kids for getting the starfish safe and getting the plastic bag outta the ocean and into the trash.

I love that you are in "what the heck, it's vacation" mode! Your posts are great and it keeps reminding me of Rob and Cindy calling their timeshare an "investment in family", it's really so true!
Not sure when, but we will be back

Not boring at all! Your reports make me smile. There is so much excitement, it's so obvious how much you enjoy being in Aruba!
Great kids! Bringing the starfish out in the ocean where they are safe (I learned about starfish here on this forum!)
And getting the plastic bag so they would not harm turtles and other creatures in the ocean. Well done, boys! And parents for teaching them to care.

Thanks for the picture of Michael. Keep em coming!

    Enjoy and have fun!
