Lazy beach day - Got up, dressed, grabbed a few towels and went right down to the beach for my front row Palapa Finally got a new book to download completely onto my kindle so I sat and read all morning between dips in the beautiful calm serene clear ocean. Today was the local kids' first day back to school and it showed on the beach and in the pool at the resort.
The rest of the family slowly found me on the beach. We packed up at 1:30 for bingo at the pool and stayed till 4 o'clock happy hour then showers and off to dinner at Quinta del Carmen.
Came back to my room for some card playing, snacks and sillyness Loved every second of it.
Brianna came to our room early (for her) & dressed & ready for the gym so the boys & I got dressed in gym clothes and went with her. They couldn't get on the racquet ball court till 10 so we walked around a bit. Went to the DePalm desk at Tropicana for them to print out our vouchers for DePalm Island on Wed. She kinda suggested not using the website to make reservations, but to use a person. Makes sense since I booked full day, but the earliest pick up time I could choose was 11 and there was no option for full day without transportation. I told her we would be driving, but she said they will still stop by the hotel. Odd.
Went back to the gym for 10, played on some machines and watched my 3 babies play racquetball together Then decided it would be a pool day since it was late. Grandma wanted to play Bingo at Glitz at 1 (she was staying out of the sun for the day). Brianna & I went with her. Fun, none of us won, but we sat at a table with a wonderful gentleman, Filo, who was born & raised on the island. He was so awesome to talk to! We drank some watered down drinks for a few hours in there. Brianna won $90 on a slot during intermission. Then we headed back to the pool just in time for Happy Hour where I drank way too many Aruba Arribas Friends from home, our next door neighbors, came to meet us at Pata Pata. Of course I had completely forgotten they were coming lol We drank & swam with them, showed them our rooms & the beach here and then they left. They are staying at the Riu and went on a Divi Phoenix tour. They liked the Divi property better than the Riu - had trouble checking in to Riu & were upgraded to a 2 BR suite which was nice.
Somehow managed to make some food for my family, went to Brianna's room to visit her while they were getting ready to go to the Riu Antilles to meet up with a friend from home.
Can't believe it's Wednesday morning already! Only a few days left in Paradise!
Jacki's report has be excited for bingo and casinos! I just recently started playing bino at home occasionally as more of a social event with friends. Jon is not really a fan of it but I may drag him at least one day. The poolside scenery in Aruba will might change his mind!

Beachside bingo in Aruba much more fun and entertaining than in the States, could it be the alcohol or just the scenery? Starting to feel sad for Jacki and family as I know your trip is winding down. Probably because we all feel like we are with you reading your great reports. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Sounds like your daughter is pretty lucky in the casinos, hope it continues and brings you some luck as well!
