With more than two people... By far the smallest bathrooms! I like to think of the convenience for access to everything as being a benefit.

My wife and I just returned from Aruba-we stayed at the Occidental Grand-it was wonderful-we took a cab from the airport and it cost $15-the resort and the beach were absolutely beautiful and the service was top notch.

The Occidental looked very nice, we actually saw a show there on Wednesday night, it was pretty good. Wow, $15 for a cab? You made out better than us. lol

Here's the info on the entertainment shows at The Occidental Grand http://www.aruba.com/news/entertainment/at-the-occidental-grand-aruba-a-different-show-every-day-of-the-week/

The Renaissance downtown has just started the Havana Show at 9 pm. Tickets at $49 are much more than the Occidental shows at $20.

Havana Dance is a reincarnation of a show which was at the Westin for a number of years. For the money, imo, if it had been only $20 pp yes good, but the $49 is not worth it.

We saw Grease at the Occidental, it was $30 a ticket which included a complimentary drink and $10 ticket to play at the casino. It was pretty good, my daughter really enjoyed it, the soundtrack played in the background and the actors lipsynched to it. The acting and dancing weren't anything really professional but overall they did a pretty good job.

drtaft, glad to know you had a wonderful time....and as Arubalisa stated, the best way to get over the sadness is to start planning another trip to the island soon........We all tear up when we leave ( even the folks that say they don't) Aruba, it is paradise for all and I start planning my next trip as soon as I get home from vacation.........
