Gretch- we are taking a 5 year old next summer. I am sure she will have a ball.
DIL wants to go but worried tha the kids will be bored. (they are 9-10)
I have plenty for them to do during the day---its the night time I am worried about

Gretch, yes we took him to all the restaurants with us. He was fine (well, as fine as a threee and half year old boy can be lol!). Sat him by a window so that he could look out at the harbor...that kept him amused for a long while The staff at LG was very accomodating and even brought him crayons. He had pasta with meatballs and enjoyed it. There were a few other young children at the restaurant at the same time, too.

Thanks, Wendy! That's good to know. I think I'll give it a try this year.

You're welcome, Gretch! When traveling with our son, we tend to eat on the early side...6-6:30. Less crowded and he's less cranky!

Enjoy your trip!
