Sundays are a fine day to check in
Mangel Halto is the best place to snorkle on Aruba but you have to be carefull
Sun worshiper, Please look me up but I'm not at the Marriott very much. Do you guys want to snorkle with me?

Yesterday was a late start because I had to be on the phone with Marriott at 10 to book my rooms for next year so after that I took the boys to Mangel Halto and it was choppy but we did alright and the water is very clear. We came back and swam awhile and then we took them to Texas Brazilian. Them boys can EAT!!!!! We watched the water and light show and called it a night. Today we rented 4 wheelers and had a blast. We did the light house, the church, natural bridge and even got to the natural pool. The boys couldn't believe that we could drive anywhere. That is the second time I have rented 4 wheelers in 18 trips. I really had fun and we have them at home so I think we will keep doing that. When we arrived Sunday night we headed to the grocery store early Monday morning and they were out of milk. We went to all 4 stores and nobody had any. They said Tuesday it comes in so went Tuesday and they said Wed it will be in. Then they said Thurday and now tonight they said Friday. I can't believe my kids won't get to eat cereal this whole week because there is no milk. Tonight we went to Pappementoes and it was great. Had to stop at bingos so the kids could try some deserts. Man my pocket book is starting to dry up. Good thing the kids go home Sunday. My wife and I might have to eat peanut butter and jelly next week. The next 2 days we have big plans all day so I will keep you posted. Kent

I think the Helicopter pilot told us that's where he likes snorkeling the best.

Today the kids fly home and Kim and I fly to Bonaire for 1 week then we will be back. In 2006 we went for the first time. I hope I don't turn into a fish over there. Its snorkle day and night. We took a dive boat out Friday and just snorkled while the divers went down and it was all stired up with 10 foot seas. Some of the divers got sick and the second stop we didn't even snorkle. The divers said they never seen anything. I tried to get a boat to take us to the antillas but Roberto snorkling was down 1 boat so we couln't go. We ate at Mirandis Friday night and that place is Great. Sat morning I met up with Lee and Wendy from a board and I took them snorkling. They are from Canada and we had a great time. They haven't snorkled alot and it was pretty rough but we made it threw and now I am leaving them so I hope they have a great time on Aruba for their first trip. The boys and I rented Harly Davisons yesterday afternoon and then ate at Tony Romas. That was really good. We also won $100 at bingo yesterday and $250 Friday and last night my boy won $150 at the Holiday Inn quarter machine. We have been paying for dinner everynight on our winnings. We better quit while we are ahead. I will post later when I get back to Aruba. Kent

Kent, nice report, looking forward to reading your updates, I have to admit those scooter things for the water, look very interesting, do you solely use it for just snorkling, are they heavy. I guess they sort of pull you thru the water, yes ?

Sorry for not posting but Boanaire was fabulous. Alot of snorkling and alot of great places to eat. Our friends came from Florida this past week and we have been sooooo busy. Ate at Passions, Mirandies, MJ's, Wackey Wahoo, Driftwood ands tonight Old Man at the sea. See a bad wreck this morning heading to snorkling and it might have been the one the chef at MJ's was in. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone at MJ's. Our friends are leaving tomorrow and then our oldest daughter and son-in-law come for next week. Will be our Daughters 4th trip and 1st for the son-in-law. We made the Aruba today paper last Tuesday. Talk to you soon. Kent
