You are having a nice extended vacation!!

Kudos on your win or break even from Seaport. I have never taken home any money from there.

Thanks for sharing and enjoy your last week

Did go back to Tulip with them, which they loved. Also went to Pelican Pier for dinner. Alexis said it was the best fish she ever had and they live at Jersey shore. SIL wanted to go to Texas de Brazil and had a good meal. Too much food for me. Wanted to try Scotts Brats but didn't know that they are only open for lunch. Last night went to West Deck. Food was good. I had Samosas then keshi yena. DH had conch fritters then the grouper dinner. We loved everything. Sunset was beautiful thru the palms. Interesting to see the sunset from a different angle. Went to Seaport Casino and they let me have some money to take home :-). DH and I have been lucky at Bingo at pool. He won once and I did twice. One of my wins was the cover all game. Madam Jeanette's here we come.

Sounds like a great trip so far! We are fans of the grouper at Pelicans Nest too, so I like hearing when other people have the same experience.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Whoa! what a storm this afternoon.Worst I have ever experienced in Aruba. Lightning, rain, thunder, gloom of night. Flooding all over the island, especially downtown according to the cab driver we had take us to the ABC. Since we were over that way we went to Hollywood to eat. It is a BBQ restaurant that was originally in San Nicolas. It was good ( we llive in Georgia so they can't compare to there). Plenty to eat.Service was good, drinks as much as a meal. The Casinos give then they take it away ;-(. Tomorrow is DH last night so we are off to Madame Jeanettes.

Hope you had a nice dinner at MJ's and that the weather is beautiful today! We like Hollywood Smomehouse. I always get their pulled pork even brought home some of their BBQ sauce last trip. Being from the Boston area we don't get much in the way of BBQ here.

We went in October a few years ago and it was raining when we landed and had been raining for 2 weeks every day all day. The next day it poured again for half the day. After that we did not get any more rain. We talked to people that had been there the whole 2 weeks and got to stay inside the whole time. You would not believe how much standing water there was for the entire 12 days we were there. The road to MJs was underwater most of the way. Glad we hadn't planned our trip for 2 weeks earlier. That being said, in 18 trips that is the only time we ever had more than 2 hours of rain for the entire time we were there.

Fortunately the storm was only two hours long. A bit of rain after that. Only three cloudy days out of 22 isn't too bad. Should have gone shopping one of those days because the day I waited was my last full day and it was sunny and hot. There were also three cruise ships in port. Must pay attention to Aruba Today for next time.
MJ's was delish as usual. There was still alot of standing water from the day before getting to it but the restaurant was fine.
Most of the time was just pool, beach and relaxing. Finally got to see where the Historical Museum was on my way back to the airport. Next year.
Going back home thru the airport was a breeze. Not much wait time in any line, check in desk, security,US check in and security. Can't give times because I brought my lunch from last of apt. food and shopped between Aruba and US Customs.
Three weeks was a bit much. Next time we get a car for at least one week to tour around. Anyone go to the Antique Mall, in Noord at the fancy church? That and the museum is on my list as well as Philips animal farm. Daughter and fam didn't want to tour around when they were with us for the week.
Two more weeks before I can make reservations for next October.
