La Cabana is our favorite place to stay. The beach is the best!

Thanks for sharing.

I am new to LaCabana, I did not find a good bartender during my stay. The renovated rooms are beautiful! Much better than before!

Thanks Lickcity!
We stay there and our S.I.L & daughter have been @ LaCabana for about 10 yrs now.
BTW, was the wristband rule in effect? Wondering if our 2 yo grandson will want to rip it off during the first 10 mins there.

the wristband deal is in effect - am at LaCabana now. My 5 & 7yr olds are required to wear them. The have no problem...it's the adults who are annoyed by them and itching to get them off!

Yo LickCity:
Glad you had a great time at LaCabana.
I was interested in hearing about it, as we stayed there on our second trip. At that time, we got into a suite under an all-inclusive package (we do NOT own a unit there), and the food / drinks / location were amazing. After that, I'd read the place had changed names, and reviews of it indicated it had gone downhill.
Hopefully all that's been resolved and your writeup seems to indicate that.
Congrats on picking Aruba - worlds' finest island.

lacabana brc and lacabana suites/villas divorced a few yrs ago.
the lacabana suites were the units in the back.
they had management issues and lacabana brc and the courts dissolved the relationship.
it is now called the "the aruban"
the aruban is having management issues........real serious issues.

the lacabana brc is doing well though
(the units out front)
they are undergoing a major renovation and it is going well.

La Cabana is a great resort.
As locals, we tend to make it our vacation spot whenever we are not able to leave the island.

Getting around the island though, next time rent a car!!!
Not just because I represent AVIS, but you are then completely at your own pace in Paradise!

Proud of Aruba!!!
Andy
