Lacabana July 20 thru 27

Been home less than 48 hrs. from Lacabana. Enjoyed the sun and the sea.Lacabana still under renovation but didn't cause much disruption. Might be a problem if you are a late sleeper but I am a early bird so no real effect. Beach,pool,nice dinner and Alhambra Casino was our routine. Great to see the new shops,restaurant,and wine and piano bar up and running there as well-new life for one of our favorite places. Still some construction there but not a major problem. Weather great,rain one night I was told but I never knew it. Meals at Las Ramblas and Chalet Suisse all good.Food at Fishes and More good but the service was terrible,had to flag down anybody I could for everything?? Broke even at the casinos for the week until leaving.Went in the slot room by gate 7 and hit a quarter machine for $1012.50 waiting for our flight! A cool way to end our 12th visit to One Happy Island!!
