Hope you win enough at the casino to not have to worry about the phone!

Sorry to hear about your phone. I hope the rice works. Heard it does for same people, others not. Wishing you good luck.

What an awful feeling that must have been when you realized you had the phone in your pocket! I hope it works once it dried out. If you end up replacing it look into the Lifeproof case. It's waterproof.

Wow what a bad start with check in but I'm glad you got a better room day 2. Yes Super foods is super crowded on Saturdays. I too like to get the shopping out of the way on first day but I think Sunday morning is better.

My "lucky day" continued at the casino last night. Went to Stellaris and lost. We ate a wonderful dinner at Blossoms. I had the Beef in garlic sauce and Linda had the Sweet and sour chicken. I had a few pieces of her chicken and it was great. My meal was excellent and what I have gotten the last 3 times I ate there. It says it is spicy but it is very mild IMHO. I like spicy. We both had leftovers. I saw a bad review of Blossoms on trip adviser and one of their complaints was the small size of the entrees. Well this person must eat an enormous amount of food because both our entrees came on large serving plates and were full. 4 people could have eaten this meal and not been hungry afterwards. The rice came in a seperate bowl and you could get more if you wanted it. Bill for 2 dinners, green tea, service charge and tip rounded up to $60.00. Total before tip was $51.74.

We have been eating breakfast and lunch on the balconey. Bagels with cream cheese, watermelon, cantalope, honey dew, pineapple, gouda cheese and coffee for breakfast and ham, turkey, mustard, pickle, tomato, havarti or gouda sandwiches on wheat(Linda) and white(me) bread with pretzels and Amstel Bright.

Heading for the beach now. Linda has been down doing water aerobics while I am here.

    how's the phone?

is linda happy with the water aerobics @ phoenix?
if it were allowed, and the timing was good, i would make my way from resort to resort hopping in on all the water aerobic classes.

my other comment.............you are on vacation, live it up..............eat some multi grain bread! (said by a wonder bread lady til about 5yrs ago)

thanks so much for sharing and continue to enjoy.

Phone is still unconcious. Better luck at Alhambra last night. Won almost $200. Dinner was at MJs. Linda had the almond grouper and I tried something I had never had before, the pork tenderloin Schnitzel with ham and gouda cheese. Both had the augratin potatos. The menu said it was flattened pork tenderloin covered with red sauce, ham and gouda cheese. It did not say it was a flattened 2 pound tenderloin. This thing was an inch thick and was hanging off the plate on all sides. Needless to say there was about a pound and a half still on the plate when I was done. It didnt look like I had eaten any of it. Check came to $80 after tip.

Ate our at least once a trip breakfast at Matthews this morning. Sat by the sea and had 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 slices of toast and coffee for $7.95.
Spent the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon at the pool. We tried a new place(to us) for dinner tonight. Daniels chop house. I know it has gotten some good reviews so we decided to try it. I had the 14 oz rib eye and Linda had the grilled boneless chicken breast. Both came with mixed veggies. I ordered the baked potato with butter, bacon and parmesan cheese. We split a caprese salad as our appetizer. I have to be honest here. Lindas chicken had a good flavor but was a little dry. May have been overcooked a tad. My steak was good but not great. I have gotten a rib eye at El Gaucho the last 3 years and thety were far better in tendernous, texture and flavor. Probably will not return. No service charge so total with tip was $82.34.(20%tip)

Thanks for the updates. Daniel's seems to get very mixed reviews. Glad to hear MJs was awesome
