I so feel your wife's pain! I have a crazy SIL too! When we first met we were all staying at a hotel down the shore & my boys were little. They took their sneakers off in the bedroom of the hotel room and she freaked and left and drove home. It's gotten MUCH worse since then....
The Ritz sounds just amazing. You deserve all the extras the way you make us all want to stay there!
OK, I am back in my room only to get more cash, lol. Today was tuff at the poker room but I am hopeful playing blackjack downstairs will win me some cash. I will update today later, I am somewhat under the weather with the awful barcadi flu, lol. I just finished searching the staff areas for more water, I had run out, lol again. My legs are crying already from cramping...I have drank 2 of my 12 pack that I "borrowed" already.
I feel like I live here, I know where everything is from the hines ketchup in the morning to my water refills at 1am. I was "caught" red handed walking down the hall with my water but I just smiled and asked how his night was...he responded great, can I make your vacation any better?
That is the attitude here at the Ritz, I just can't put it into words.....these people are flat out amazing!
I am headed downstairs to play some blackjack...wish me luck
Luck? Nope, but all is good. My only complaint is I actually miss my little boy because he is now at home and I am not....Missing him when I thought he would be in NY ( I would be miserable there) was just fine, I totally wish he was here with me snuggling in bed....less than 48 hours.
Please don't think the last statement does not mean I am happy, I am actually beyond happy... I would always wish to share it with my son (and wife) whenever possible and for those that have followed the story my family should still be in NY.....boy does my wife deserve the 15 nights she will be in Aruba next month...the countdown is on. August 8th here we come, lol.
Be well, happy belated 4th for those of you still up and about.

I just returned from a nice yet somewhat painful walk. I walked from the Ritz to down near LaCabana an then turned around, I had hoped I would be able to make it down to Manchebo to see if I could spot CP-jones lounging on the beach but the combo of the heat and my foot I turned around. I am now sitting on my balcony listing to the live entertainment by the pool. I need to think about lunch soon but to be honest I am very lazy at this second.....
Now I feel responsible for the foot...(NOT).... I think you're overdoing it just a bit..... relax, chill.....STAY OFF THE FOOT when you can.!!!
Ok, I am starting the day a little later than I had planned. I just returned from an excellent breakfast at Solanio. Their buffet breakfast is amazing to say the least. I am happy to say my appetite came back big this morning and I chowed down a couple of omlettes, waffles, bacon, sausage and a muffin. I don't eat a variety of foods in the morning but if I did the choices are almost endless. They have an omlette station, waffle station (amazing), a ton of fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fresh cheese selection, tons of meat options, smoked salmon, selection cereals, muffins, pastries and several other things my little brain can't recall.
I am headed to the beach in a few minutes as its my last full day on the island this trip.
I just returned from a nice walk along the shore. I walked down to the area where you would turn up the street to go to gold coast then I returned back. While on my walk I saw a couple getting their wedding pictures taken. They looked like really good but I can't imagine how hot they were. They got married on the island last week and were doing there shots today. The photographer took traditional pictures and had the Inspire 1 drone that costs a small fortune taking pictures out over the water....amazing. I of course had no room left on my phone to take any additional pictures of their "day" so I just watched after figuring out I had no room left without figuring out which memories while standing on the shore....
Peg you may be correct on that one, lol. I never drink my last night so my body is already in recovery mode.I am pushing the "healthy" fluids today. I have had 4 bottles of water, 2 glasses of water at breakfast, 2 ojs at breakfast and a gatoraide so far. I won't have one single drink between now and August 8th when we return as a family and it will be "game on" again.
