You have to take better care of yourself. I think you did more walking on a bum foot that I do on two healthy ones... but you really do make me want to stay at the Ritz.

I hope you have a great trip next week....I am missing the island already and I am still here. My last full day is always a relaxing/packing day for me. I am packed for the most part as well. When you only take a carry-on it does not take long to repack things up.

My walking is over with the exception of walking down and back from the Hilton to play cards later this tonight. I won't do a thing when I return home until my foot is 100% healthy, this week delayed the healing process but I will survive to "walk" another day. I am very stubborn when I want to do something and I am often willing to pay the price at a later date.

I pay for 3 or 4 a day and the rest are free minus tips...I could go broke on my rum/cokes if I had to pay for all of them.

My cousin stayed at the ritz this past week, they checked out
    and moved to another hotel.

Only one elevator for that building, the halls were like a maze.
Rocky, seashell beach, which i told them about.

just didn't like it, honestly me too....

That stinks they did not enjoy themselves. If you have any issues walking I guess the hallways could be an issue, its not the first time I have read it but never a thought for me to be honest. The building is set up so basically all rooms are either direct ocean front or partial...if you had an end room like we have had in the past its about two hundred steps from the elevators, of which there are 3 but all in the center of the building.

What makes the Ritz the Ritz is the service they offer their guests. The location may not be for everyone either because its at the end of the strip. I appreciate the fact we all love different things about aruba and don't all stay at the same place, lol.

I agree, Ricky. I wasn't impressed with the Ritz either. The one in Aruba seems more like a business hotel. This one doesn't warrant the price. Really isn't tropical. And the casino is boring.

I need to get motivated to go grab a quick bite somewhere and get signed in for the poker tourney before it begins at 8pm.

I am sitting here on my balcony as I prepare to go home today. It is actually pouring rain right now, kind of pretty in a funny kind of way...the workers work all over the beach preparing for the day and the skies opened up....they are now soaked the pour ladies and gents....

Last night was fun. I was sitting at the poker game when I hear, Jay is that you? I look over and who do I see? CpJones of course, lol. Chuck it was an absolute pleasure to meet you. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. Thanks for stopping by so we could connect for a few minutes.

And the rain is over as quickly as it came in. If I was not awake to go home I would have not even realized it rained I am sure....enjoy your day in Aruba if you are lucky enough to be here all day, lol.
