Patty,

There are a couple more lined up until I depart in April. So if you're on the island, keep an eye on Aruba today. All events are advertised there.

Thanks for the update...still trying to figure out a way to buy something permenant on the island without going bankrupt....husband is of no help, he doen't believe I actually want to stay on the island..why??? The winters are not fun here anymore, I hate the cold and want to spend my glory years on Aruba.....
Hopefully we will get the chance to meet up again in November.....maybe for dinner???

Danadog,

Keep me posted on our travel plans. I'm usually on the island in November. This year is going to be a little confused because of other book things.

Also, why doesn't your husband believe? There's plenty of housing options on the island, especially on this side of the bridge that are really quite affordable. Of course the homes aren't large or fancy but simple life can be good and how much do you really/want need anyway? Cold drinks, decent shower, roof that doesn't leak. There you have it.

An Island Away is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble on line and Barnes and Noble stores. If they don't have it, they can order it. The distributer is Baker & Taylor.
