Our first few trips it was a bit of a first night tradition, but we haven't been the last couple times. It seems to get mixed reviews.
I had read someplace that Iguana Cantina was going to be replaced with Iguana Joe's. Of course, they do have the same parent.

Just love Iguana Joe's.. went there several times for apps. and of course drinks.
Was pretty cool to watch the activities from up there while the king & queen was in town...
Picked up some hot sauce's and of course rum...

One of the best burrito's I have had. Service was great the burrito was 12" long and they even suggested we split it which we did. It was only $13.95 and that was a good price. You will like it. See if they will seat you overlooking the mall and in the evening there is small water display which is nice. Tomato Charlie's was good pizza with a free pitcher of beer if you order the special. Do the carriage ride it was fun. You have to get up very early to get a "chickee" they are first come first serve.

Thanks for sharing your trip, Sue M., glad you had such a fabulous time!

Did you as well explore the island a bit as you had a rental car? Like driving to the lighthouse, or the other side of Aruba to the Natural Bridge? Or all the way south to Baby Beach?

Loved reading about Black Pearl. That's something I would like to do as well. I'm not a snorkeler either but would love to try it. Was the tour in the morning or more afternoon? Any special protections against the sun? That's always one of my biggest concerns as my skin is so light colored and I burn easily.

Looking forward to hearing more of your experiences!

We stayed the holiday inn before we knew of the playa Linda. The holiday inn was nice but we love the playa Linda.

We did not do as much driving as expected. It was very frustrating for my husband to drive in Aruba which really surprised me. The sunset catamaran was 4 to 7 which was perfect. We were using SPF 50 but I was already tan and have a dark complexion so always be careful. I always wear a hat as well but could not on the catamaran too windy. I think we will explore more next year via a tour or taxi. No driving.
