I reserved a coastline view room originally but the hotel manager (thanks tiffany) upgraded our room prior to arriving to an ocean view room because of a difficulty we had with our booking that she quickly fixed for us. But when we checked in, we did not receive an ocean view room, we received an amazing corning unit ocean front room that is the nicest room in the hotel that is not officially a suite. I actually think our room is part of the 2br suite that you can reserve...the balcony we have has 3 different sliders to it, just amazing. The balcony is bigger than my first apartment after college, lol.

We had a simple dinner at the Divi last night after getting in. Just a few burgers, salad and pizza for my son. Everything was good. I gambled last night at the Riu because there was no game at the Hilton last night....

The club level had Chicken Satay, Alaskan King Crab in a cream sauce plus a meat dish, and open bar. I passed on the food last night but my wife said it all was excellent, I just enjoyed a few stellas and a few bacardi and cokes. Getting ready to head try the breakfast on the club level, hoping its good.

Few few clouds in the sky, looks like an amazing beach day after breakfast.

Getting ready to head to the pool/beach with the twerp but first a little club breakfast review. The club level has a really nice breakfast. Every type of juice you can imagine, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, cereal, salmon, fresh cheeses, mimosa if you choose (nope), pastries, empanada, and other things I am sure I forgot. It was really good way to start the day, my son loved the pancakes so that is a plus.

We spent much of the morning and afternoon at the pool. For lunch we ate on the club level again. I had chicken panini with pesto, turkey sandwiches, caesar salad, and chips for lunch, my wife had some type of bean salad, salsa chips and the panini, and my son had chicken fingers and fries (they do a kids lunch for them) and everything was great! The sandwiches are really small as are the salads, but when you eat multiple ones of each it does the job amazing well.

Lounging on the balcony drinking a stella as I write this...I could not imagine a place I would rather be at this moment in time. I have 30 minutes to relax then I am off to the arcade with my son. He loves playing games...

CP- Sounds like a heat wave, lol. Although I did see warmer temps for Boston later in the week. My son asked if we could move to Aruba for good, I laughed and said I wish....

Last night we ate most of our dinner at the club level. They had AMAZING lobster ravioli, meatballs and another dish I am not recalling. After eating upstairs we went to the Divi for drinks and a dinner for my son, he just had chicken fingers...we had drinks, lol. My luck turned around playing cards last night and I am back on the positive side after losing way to much my first night.

We are getting ready to head to beach/pool depending on my sons wants.
