fake and phony ...we all know how sickening that is.

glad that maryanne and staff went above and beyond.

hope the kiddo is feeling up to snuff!!

Today when CJ was checking in for the first time this trip, Maryanne presented my wife with an envelope that she had been holding since this summer for us. The kids club staff laminated a bunch of color photos of my son during our summer trip, when they went to give them to us we had already checked out. So what did Maryanne and the kids club do? Maryanne saved them because we told her we would be back soon to see her...so she held them for 6 months for us!

Little things like this are what the Ritz is about, personal attention that is anything but fake...really sweet.

Thanks Andrea. He is at kids club so that should be good for his spirits..he is a bit run down for sure today. Getting up at 3am on Sunday with zero naps this trip is catching up with him today....I think I need a nap, getting to bed at 3am is difficult at my age, lol.

We just returned from a great dinner at Solanio. We split a caesar salad, my wife had a chicken and spinach and really liked it, I had the chicken parm and also enjoyed it. The service with Oswaldo was excellent as always. He was asking about my son who is at kids club...these guys really pay attention and have great memories, we have not eaten with Oswaldo in 7 months but he remembered us like it was yesterday. We will dine with him again on Thursday but this time with our son.

Its been two days since I have posted but nothing has changed. Another great day yesterday. Our son went to the kids club yesterday afternoon and that allowed us to go for a nice LONG walk along the beach, its one of the few times we have actually left the property this trip. We have become very lazy, lol. It is difficult to motivate me to go out for a nice dinner these days because the food on the club level is so good, there is always something really good to eat and I am really picky.

Tonight we will be headed to Solanio for dinner again, then out to the casino. I am hoping the casino treats me better than last night- it was ugly.

Looks like my son is ready for the beach, off we go.

    thank you aruba4ever for posting.

oh how well we all know the feelings of lack of motivation while we are sitting beach or poolside.

your club level perks are awesome.

did you ever get to meet with the manager to say hello?

glad you are all having fun. thanks

Meeting/thanking Tiffany is on my list of things to do in the next 24 hours. That is about the only thing on my list besides dinner at Solanio tonight and Dinner at BLT tomorrow evening.

I went to see Tiffany today but she had already left for the day. I will try to remember to see her tomorrow to say how much I appreciate her help, and of course her wonderful staff.

We went for dinner at Solanio again this evening. Another amazing meal with Oswaldo being our server again tonight. He always makes our dinner special. He had someone deliver Antipasto for 2 to share
    Burrata, brandade, marinated artichoke, prosciutto,
olives, tomato, arugula, pepperoncini, salami for us to try on the house, it was AMAZING!!!!!

I have tried so many things I typically would not eat this trip. Being on the club level with their amazing choices of food makes it easy to try new things. I had the lobster Rav and it was very good, my wife had an excellent chicken dish they made special for her.

My son got to make his own pizza again and Chef Stanwick took him onto the kitchen to put it into the oven...just special.

I could live here forever if my bank account would allow me to do so. The combination of great people, incredible service, terrific food and perfect weather makes life great at the Ritz.
