    Saturday Nov 10

    Same ol Same ol.....
Renaissance Island early til about 2.
Weather wonderful, with a passing cloud.

Did some snorkeling again out near the rock wall .
Lots and lots of parrot fish. They are so funny looking with their huge chompers.

    Dinner at LaVista at Marriott.
    Very Good, not outstanding.
We had lobster tails and prime rib.
(tonight we had originally planned on Barneys with LUVSUN/Scott, but we had to make a change, Barneys with them, will probably be Tues or Wed)
The casino donated a little to us tonight. Well actually it was break even.

On the way back from the Marriott the rain poured for about 10 min!
    Stars are now out!

Just a quick FYI - we use Bull Frog Mosquito coast sunscreen when we go to a local lake in the summer....kills 2 birds with one stone and it works to keep away those nasty bugs and too many uv rays. If you local stores don't have it, you can buy at drugstore.com
Not sure when, but we will be back

Just checked the webcams and it looks like it's going to be another great day! You've had some great weather. Aren't you the brave one feeding the fish with sea urchins! It sounds like you are having a great trip. Thank you for sharing it with us. We are still undecided on when - or even if - we are going in the spring, so I have to live through everyone else's reports for now. I have my ticker up with my "here's hoping" date! Enjoy!

Thanks for the reports Andrea. We are so sad to hear of Lisa's and Bully's moms both passing. Our thoughts are with both families. Hope you guys have a blast for the rest of your trip!

    Sunday Nov 11

Thank you Veterans for your service!!

    Again today's weather was glorious.
Went over to Ren Island, early, but the mosquitos were so bad we were back on the boat before 9 and spent the day on the lagoon beach here at Ocean Suites.

Lounged on the beach in and out of the shade and spent much time noodling around in the pool and lagoon.

Dinner tonight was at Barney's with Scott and Leslie (LUVSUN/Scott's brats)
Barney's is excellent and i highly recommend it.

Paul had a burger that was monstrous and very reasonably priced.
I had a grouper dinner that was terrific and much better than grouper we have had at some other placed. Thick and moist and a huge filet.

Scott had the same as Paul and Leslie had the same as me.

Hmmmm, we are running out of nights and i think we are going to repeat
Barneys and Buccaneer Folks ask, so many restaurants, why repeat?
Our only answer is........we know what we like and why mess with it?
We too will repeat Scott's Brats for a breakfast sandwich.

Spent a little time at Marriott Casino and tonight Marriott donated a little back to us........well it was break even, that is a win right?

While at Marriott Casino, a gentleman approached me and asked if I was Andrea. It was forum member MATTMORR and his lovely bride Kelly.
It was so nice to put real people to names. She was holding her own on video poker and he was giving her encouragement.
It was a pleasure to meet them!

Looking forward to seeing BilStellaR and Sugar midweek.
Bully's mom's funeral is thursday morning, wake is wed. evening. We will attend the wake.
So many of us are just still shaking our heads in wonder at the timing/coincidence of the passing of Bully's mom and Arubalisa's mom.
    Sad coincidence

So glad to hear that you loved Barney's. We went there last summer based on a reco from this BB and thought it was a real nice option for dinner-real good food and reasonable prices with friendly service. It was fairly empty when we were there and we are hoping they can build a strong following and last a long time. How crowded was it when you were there?

we we were there early, 6:15 or so.

maybe 4 or 5 at the bar, 5 tables of diners one being a table of 8

not crowded at all, but a decent number for it being so early.i think we left a little before 8
