Trip Planner, sounds like a great time, we are going to hit Super Foods tomorrow and hope to beat the crowd as I want to try one stop shopping. Need to find a place that has the cold cans of Bud Light at a reasonble price for back at the room. I did notice with the tram rail work some stores will loose parking with the road gone but hopefully they make out with the new influx of customers who get off nearby. Have fun and thanks for posting

We took a jeep ride up to the lighthouse. We enjoy looking at Boca Catalina, Catalina Cove, and Arashi when driving to lighthouse. The view is awesome from up there.

We headed to Palm Beach to have lunch at Scott's Brats. We had two sconnies and they were great. Good food and nice people. Look forward to trying out the brats.

After lunch we headed to Eagle Beach. We set up in front of LaCabana. Rented a beach chair for $5 and enjoyed the beach and water for the afternoon. We had our soft sided cooler packed with beer and water to keep us hydrated.

For happy hour we returned to the Blue bar at the Renn. For dinner we went to LG Smith's. my wife had Caesar salad, grouper, mixed vegetables, sautéed mushrooms, and chocolate cake. I had Caesar salad, filet, shrimp, sautéed mushrooms, spinach, and cream brûlée. My dinner was great but my wife's grouper and veggies were not seasoned much. We both had a glass of wine and I had a Dewars and tab was $91. Not bad for the atmosphere.

    More to come.

Andrea the coffee pot is a one packet cup maker. Could not use our own coffee we brought from home. They do have good coffee though. I might look into that storage you mentioned. We plan on coming 2-3 times a year and suit case weighed 52 lbs. would be nice to buy coffee maker and a small fan for sleeping and leave here with snorkel gear.

if you do decide to do that b4 you go, contact LOU at timesharestoreage@aol.com

he can get you all set up prior to you leaving.

we too leave a small fan.......as silly as this sounds even when it is cool, i have a fan blowing on my face while sleeping. my husband says it is to "dry out the drool". but during my hot flash stage that lasted 7 years, the fan was a godsend.

Yesterday was a cloudy day with rain off and on all day. Started with the morning walk down to Barefoot and back and got soaked with a rain shower. The view is awesome from the Renn down to Barefoot.

We tried the pool but kept having off and on showers. Decided it might be a good day for a jeep ride.

We headed toward the airport and through the detour and out toward the brewery where we turned right to head to Mango Halto. I never get tired of the water colors at Spanish Lagoon and Mango Halto. We then headed to Savaneta. Zeerovers was packed with the locals after church. Went by Flying Fishbone and Old Man and the Sea and headed to San Nicolas to stop by Charlie's bar. As we drove we went by Minchi's and then saw Charlie's and it is closed on Sunday. Oh we'll maybe next time. We headed back to airport. We wanted to find a ,different route for going from airport to Palm Beach to stay away from traffic by Renn Marina when cruise ships are in. We took a right at the roundabout and went to 2A and went right. We ended up turning on a road that came out at Superfoods. This route did not seem to save much time. If anyone has another route let me know?

Got back to hotel and had a late lunch in room. Then headed down to happy hour. My wife had a pedicure scheduled for 6 so I met some new folks at the bar. Met a guy from Germany that has worked here off and on for 35 years at the refinery. Wow did he have some stories. Met a local that owns a painting company and knows El Samito.

For dinner we headed to Hung Paradise again. My wife had chicken low mien and I had Hunan Beef fried rice and shrimp won tons. Bill was $35.

    More to come.

Yesterday was a great beach day. We started with snorkeling at Mango Halto. Saw some great underwater sites and enjoyed watching the dive groups suit up and go out from shore.

After Mango Halto we headed back to Renn Marina pool till noon and then packed a soft sided cooler with Balashi Chills and headed to Renn Island. Adult side was full so we headed to family side and got my wife set in her chair and I assumed position in water. Headed back to hotel around 4 and showered and went to happy hour.

We decided to go walking around hotel and do a little shopping and came upon Jemanja. I have read many good reviews on this board so we decided to give it a try. My wife had a Brazilian seafood trio and I had the big rib-eye. There was some kind of dipping sauce for the steak that was really good. This was by far the best meal we have had here yet. The tab was $86 after 20% tip. After dinner we headed back to room. We are not big late night people. We tend to start early and go hard all day.

Well today is our last day. We depart at 4pm Wednesday. So you all know how we are feeling
