    Oceania trip report....

Arrived yesterday. We flew out of Dallas Love Field for the first time. We normally fly American Airlines out of DFW International but was able to get a great rate flying SW Airlines and they fly out of Love field. We departed gate a few minutes early around 6:05am (which means we all got up around 3am) with a connection in Orlando. Both flights were packed and even the Orlando departure to Aruba left the gate early. Both flights were very smooth. Great job SW airlines! American Airlines could learn a few things from you. Landed in Aruba 30 minutes early. Immigration was really full and even the line for the residents/airline crew was packed. Got through to baggage claim - grabbed our bags and my 2 liters of adult beverages from duty free and off for the rental car from Top Drive. Pulled into Oceania and met the rep from Prestige Vacations right on time. Was very impressed that the person that checked us in from prestige was on time since we were early landing and they knew the unit we were renting inside and out. Great job Prestige!

We unpacked... poured a cocktail and checked out the unit. We are staying in the Palm building on the top floor with a rooftop balcony. The rooftop has covered seating area with table and chairs and sofa. There is a built-in BBQ grill and a hot tub. The rooftop is HUGE and the furnishings inside the unit are amazing. It's very clean. Love it. The wife and kids went to Super Foods while I finished unpacking. Went for an early dinner to Casa Tua. Had pizza and sangria and it was delicious as usual! Love that place. Service was fantastic. Came back to Oceania and let the girls go out for a swim while we sat poolside and watched them. Came back into the unit and everyone was asleep by 9:30. Up around 7am with coffee on the rooftop. Life is good. Going to be lazy today and hit pool and beach and a few adult beverages. Dinner is at MJs tonight. Will update throughout the trip. So far... trip #27 is a success!

Dinner at MJs last night was good as usual. The wife and I split the grouper and each had our own appetizer. I had the tuna sashimi and wife had the lobster raviolis. Girls (4 of them) had noodles with butter and parmesan. One had grilled chicken in it. They also split the lobster ravioli as well. Wife and I each had a couple cocktails. Bill was $180 before tip. Another beach day. It is EXTREMELY quiet at Oceania. I love it here! Way different than the Surf Club. Dinner tonight are steaks on the grill on the rooftop! I brought Allen Brothers frozen filets with us in a cooler that I checked as luggage. I finish the steaks with some garlic butter on top! Sunset on the rooftop!

Forgot to mention that we let the girls invite a friend with them and they are pretty entertained with the Go Pro I bought them before we left. They are videoing each other in the pool. I told them if I bought them one they had to put together an end of trip video. We'll see how that goes!
