we loved amadeus.
the folks in our group did not.
i cannot speak for them except to say they had difficulties with almost everything about their experience/dinner there.
that being said
paul and i had a fabulous meal and loved EVERY part of it.

Like the other members in your party, we too did not enjoy our recent dinner at Amadeus. The food was fine, but found the service staff and the owner to be totally indifferent to us, despite there being only 4 other tables occupied for our entire meal. We just felt that they couldn't care less if we were there or not so we will not be there on our next visit-just too many other restaurants with good food at decent prices in Aruba and where they are happy to have you-just my humble opinion.

Try Chef's Tables, where they treat you like a friend and the food is terrific.

wed aug 11

well dear husband felt pretty miserable last night.
stomach bug :-( do we see a pattern here?
so today i was the nursemaid for a while.
ran to lings for soup for him, ran to pharmacy/botica, stopped in the new grocery store on palm beach road. the shelves are half bare and there were few shoppers.
i bought another can of chicken and rice soup for dh.

back here to casa del mar and sat under a shade hut at the pool and read........checking in on paul every so often, as he spent most of the day in bed or in the bathroom.

tonight he felt well enough to walk over to alhambra to make a donation :-(
maybe the beach tomorrow! boy i hope so!

Can't stand Lewis Black, but it's worth muting the volume and seeing that beautiful beach!
