    Andrea,

Sorry to hear about the collision. By the way, I'm wondering if drugs/alcohol were involved with the other driver that crashed into your car. Did the police inquire about that or do any tests?

    Just wondering...

    Friday

We spent the better part of the day at the beach and actually in the ocean.
Weather was HOT, some breeze, but very infrequent.

Dinner was at Lindas again where paul and i each had some of the delicious dutch tomato soup AND shared a pizza. very good meal!

Stopped to visit some friends that rented a house up near the golf course....YIKES huge house, huge rent, and pretty nice, but these folks are w/out a rental car ...will not get a taxi so are very much housebound.
We took them on a brief tour up to Alto Vista and lighthouse and highrise area, encouraged them to rent a car and bid farewell after supper at Lindas.

    Saturday
We packed our stuff. Lou from Timeshare storage email timesharestorage@aol.com picked up our container, and we were off to the airport.
Hans from Tropic met us their, retrieved our car, assured us that the damage was being fixed at no consequence to us or to him (the woman's insurance was covering the whole thing) and bid us farewell.

Saturday lines at airport :-( monstrous lines especially at us customs.
check in at air tran , no line and we checked in at 10:45.
by the time we got to our gate (no stops for shopping, eating slots etc) it was
12:20. the longest line was at US customs where there were only 3 agents and hundreds of folks in line.
the line did move and by the time it was our turn, there were 6 customs officers doing their thing.

our flight was delayed a couple of hours.
    our gate was changed.
we played in the slot parlor.........each of us made $20 last an hour. IMAGINE THAT!!!
we watched the aruba vs maine baseball game at one of the bars near gate 4
and boy was that exciting to see them kick butt.

    flight uneventful.
    smooth.
per usual i slept and drooled and apparently snored.
the upgrade to 1st class in the outbound flight apparently included the return so we were pleasantly surprised that again we were in 1st class.

this time there were nips of liquor and paul enjoyed his rum and cokes but i was comatose and drank nothing. i wonder what paul ordered for me and then pocketed???

landed at 7 in orlando, got in our car at long term parking and were in our house by 8:45. (we are 49 miles from orlando international)

Happy to hear that the last days of the trip were, finally, uneventful and you had a safe trip home.
