    Our first Aruba Trip

OUR FIRST ARUBA TRIP WAS A SUCCESS
    I too was there September 28 -0ct 5th !!

We flew direct from Boston. Flight there was easy peezy . Bully had to wait a bit as there was a worker slow down at the Aruba airport ( due to the election , some were not happy with the results lol )
We stayed at Divi Golf Villas. Our first dinner was Madame J which was recommended here and just about by anyone we talked to . I had the best lamb of my life ! Truly told anyone and everyone I met . haha
We had some luck at the Alhambra casino so we went to Aquarius sunday night . We met a fellow forum member at a bus stop who advised us to eat there . For $39 we stuffed our self silly at the all you can eat seafood buffet . ( 4 lobster tails later )
We did the catamaran afternoon delight tour . It was amazing at Boca Catalina
We did the kookookunucu * , which was a blast as we met many fellow Bostonians
We bought all inclusive at the TAM for 5 days and drank our weight in alcohol
All in all we had a fabulous vacation . We loved it so much we are taking the boys for April vacation !!
The only down side was leaving , we had a 330 flight to Boston . The person above with the early flight was VERY lucky .
Arrived at airport 3 and a half hours early . There we STOOD along with hundreds of angry passengers lol . They had 8 US customs agents for the morning . By the time we arrived at 11:30 a they were down to 3 non paid workers . Everyone was getting pulled from the lines to make their flights. We were very nervous but alas they got us out of line with about 25 other JetBlue flyers .We made it home safely and was greeted by my boys and dog with hugs and kisses ( even by my 15 year old haha ).
    CANT WAIT UNTIL APRIL

Thanks for sharing your story and your photos! Aww, the smiles!

It was interesting to read your experience at the airport on your way home. Glad they pulled the passengers from the lines to avoid that they would miss their flights!

Great report.... great pictures.... I'm glad you enjoyed Mme J's, it's always our favorite and the rack of lamb is 'wow'....

It's funny how many of us started to think about the second trip while we're still on our first! Thanks for sharing!
