    Our mid-week report

Just sitting under a palapa at the Surf Club- yes they now have wifi on the beach- and realized it is time to post. The weather has been great since we got here on Monay and even though we have great weather in Southern California and live only a mile from the beach, there is something very magical about Aruba and its beaches. We are here with my SIL & BIL so today we did some touring to the usual places-Cal. Lighthouse and natural bridge. Cruise ship came in this AM so fairly crowded around the island.

We we have been mostly chilling on the beach and eating and drinking. In fact my dilemma of the trip has been which beer I prefer- Amstel Bright or Balashi Chill. Interested in what the forum thinks although I don't think you could go wrong either way, especially with a lime.

Dinner so so far has been terrific as always. Monday night we basically crashed at Smokey Joes as we were exhausted from our 11 hours of travel. Tuesday we had a really nice dinner at Wacky Wahoo's, still a favorite got fresh and perfectly prepared seafood. Last night was a beautiful sunset dinner in the sand at Barefoot. As always, a great dinner with terrific service. 3 of us had different versions of grouper, all yummy.

in general, the island seems to be doing well and is fairly crowded for late May- early June.

I better get back to the sun and surf and I'm probably boring all of you by now. More to come later in the week.

    I vote for Amstel Bright.
Love your taste in restaurants, hitting some of the ones we have enjoyed.
Not sure when, but we will be back

I'm a bright fan but would settle for Chill if I was sitting under a palapa in Aruba.

Never boring.... thx for posting. That 11 hour trip to Aruba is quite a commitment and, I'm sure quite tiring. OK, OK.... I gotta give the Balashi Chill a chance.

Nothing boring about it! I vote Chill, but I think I'd drink warm dishwater if I could do it on the beach in Aruba right now!
