ok...saturday the 18th....today is the day we do my husbands anual road tour around the island. we pack up the car with drinks and snacks and snorkle stuff and off we go.....we head toward san nicolas, passing eagle beach and downtown. our first stop is boca grandi....its early so we are the only ones here....a few kite surfers a bit down but it is all ours. beach looked as if it had been cleaned up since our last visit. nice waves...not to crazy...so in we went. mom had a good time here. i came out to take some pictures and noticed all the goats comming down and out from the cliffs by the prison....hundreds of them! it was so cool to see them all. i even got to see a momma giving birth while we were there. after about 2 hours we continued on....gonna follow the coastline, hubbies point of destination is to get to andicuri beach. this year he made it to boca prins....beautiful!! and also made it to dos playa....also beautiful. but alas we did not make it to the pool or andicuri....have to try again next year.....lol(yes i do know how to get there.....but it is so much fun just letting him do this.....lol) so we decide to grab a quick bite before heading to malmok. after lunch we arrive to malmok and take mom snorkling! i have always seen tons of fish and living things here but never like this year....it was amazing! big, little, colored, clear....you name it it was swimming, slithering, or hiding in the rocks here. it was a blast. we even dove down and got a starfish for some kids to see. yes we put him back.....lol mom loved it. after we took her to the big mall to see it and then back to our beach for a bit.

dinner tonight was at madame jannettes....just me and hubby. we had son take his grandma to casa tua tonight and then just to stroll around the shops. i can finally say hubby found it on the first try!!! it helped that they put a sign out on the main road...lol....so we got there a bit early....got a bottle of wine and just hung at the bar. we were seated on time and so excited for this dinner...i ordered the bang bang shrimp and hubby got the shrimp casserole. when i first had the bang bang shrimp it was love at first bite! sweet, spicy, crunchy, yummm! well it seems the chef played with the recipe...and by god it is even better! he added a small diced pinapple to give it a citrus punch. for dinner i got the filet dish kasi's father invented. i think it was the old butcher steak....big piece of filet mignon with almond mashed potatoes and crispy thin onion strands.....all surrounded by an amazing sauce. hubby got the surf and turf.....both were perfection! for dessert we got the chocolate souffle with pumpkin seed ice cream....perfect as always. we had a great time and a great meal....the service was perfection and the resaurant was at full capacity. lovely music and just all around a great night.....until.......a table over from us was a lovely family having dinner...mom, dad, daughter(early teens) and son(maybe 10-12)....we hear an earshattering scream...the kind of scream as a parent you know something is no longer attached to your child that is supposed to be attached.....the daughter jumps up....table cloth pretty much attached to her and is wirling around screaming........it seems a young iguana fell out of the tree and landed on her and was attached to the front of her top.....silverware and glasses flew....she twirled....it was a sight......lol....poor kid.....she about died from embarrassment. but by god it was one of the funniest things i have ever seen! and someday she and her family will have a very funny story....

we ended our night going to a few casino's and hotel hopping....another great day done.....

the very rainy christmas week in 2010, we watched an iguana drop from a tree onto a lady's stomach as she laid there in a lounge chair.

it was like watching a train wreck.

the lady went ballistic. she flew out of the lounge and god help whoever was in her way. the iguana went flying into another chair.
paul and i buried our heads in our towels trying to muffle the laughter.

your episode at MJs watching the whole scene with the young girl.....were many laughing or sitting there stunned trying not to laugh?
