It sits in the parking lot, close to the new building (bathroom/showers). We walked over for lunch and brought the food back to our palapa one day and drove thru the parking lot another day, taking the containers back to our room.
Coming in late here but.....Wow what a travel day/night!! I would probably have made permanent indentations on the arm rests with my fingers!! So glad to hear all are safe and are looking forward to good days on the beach! Would love to be there for 3 weeks!! I am enjoying reading your reports...thank you for sending!
Spent the day on the beach today and was bound and determined to get in the water since I don't think vacation really starts until you are surrounded by that beautiful blue water. The water is still pretty rough and my first trip in the water was scary but you have to time it just right getting in and getting out (several people had to be helped out and it is so nice to see that everyone runs to help whether they know them or not). On my second trip in, I think the tide started coming in because the waves seemed a lot bigger. I just about made it in when I see this huge swell and just knew I was a goner. I braced myself and hoped for the best. I am 5'2" and that sucker almost went completely over my head. I can't believe I stayed standing but after swallowing some water and a little coughing, I made it but now, how in the world am I going to get out?! My timing was better I guess and after watching, praying and running like heck, I got out (DH wasn't as lucky and had to chase his hat down the beach). Now that I have survived, it was a lot of fun, lol! Going to Fishes and More for dinner and across to the Hyatt to recover some of our losses. Until tomorrow......

Golly Gee - between your airplane adventures and now the rough sea you are sure a brave one, much braver than I It is always fun for us less adventurous to lay back and watch everyone trying to get out on days like that, have to admit it is funny at times.
You really have to get the timing right when the ocean is that rough. I learned the hard way one trip. Got out with some help and I was scraped and bleeding! Still love a good wave though!! Glad you got some beach time in. Enjoy Fishes and More.
