    Andrea,

You are so helpful and appreciate it, I just sent him an email. Hopefully we can work it out otherwise it will be Jet Blue and $50 to bring home for two chairs that costs $48 LOL.

it'll cost you $70 with timeshare storage to store them.

is there a staff member at the renaissance or an islander that you know that might be able to store them for less $ ?

we are going to be in the same situation in May.
we will be beach hopping, will need chairs and then the dilemma of what to do when it is time to go home.

Received an email from Lou of Timeshare Storage, sounds like a good deal except the purchase of a tote for $45.00. I also understand he is in business and needs to make a few dollars. It sounds like they will not take anything unless it is in the storage tote. Maybe Leslie will take them if I tell her how great her Packers were the other night LOL. I will have to see what I can find out and see what I can pull off. Today we went to Baby Beach, sat in nice new chairs and had lunch at the Reef Bar next to the dive shop which is a cool little place. About to hop in the rain locker that leaks on the floor and take a taxi to Barneys for the first time. Have to check out the menu once there and may have to try that Grouper Parmesan everyone raves about. If not I am sure the food is excellent from what I have been told and the return trip to the Ren might get cut short with a drop off at the Paddock. Nice night for it with no cruise ships in right now so taking advantage of it may make sense. Loving the trip and other than a few minor glitches with the renovations it is an amazing trip. Then again, I could be stuck on an iceberg and as long as Diane is by my side it would be better than ever.

We were just talking about trying to figure out how to make that Parmesan Grouper here at home. I hope you like it!
We love Baby Beach and wish we would have tried lunch at the Reef Bar - that Mamma's place is on our "will not return" list.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Hey it was nice meeting you and your wife when we were at Barneys. It's always fun to chat with others from the forum. Oh and my Parmesan grouper was delicious

Peg, nice meeting you guys too and to find out we are almost neighbors was funny. Well not real close 15 minutes away. Should have gone for the Grouper over the mixed grill special.

The rest of the week we just enjoyed hanging out at the Ren with a few side trips. We headed to a few shops in the low rise district on Wednesday and went to the Pelican’s Nest for an appetizer and a few cold Brights. I did read some earlier rumblings how the wait staff can be rude and overly aggressive regarding the 15 percent service charge. We noticed a couple sitting at the bar with loud music and having a beer, they decided t order a bucket and were yelled at for wanting to move to a high top table, the place was empty and the bar tender said they had to stay at the bar. When our bill came the waiter pointed out the service charge and asked if charging or cash. I was going to charge and he told me to sign. I told him I would sign after he the card. That is when I decided to pay cash and gave him extra on top of the 15% but I don’t like aggressive wait staff.

We also had wonderful meals at L.G. Smiths Steakhouse and met a couple who worked also for the Coast Guard in the DC area who were very nice. Sole Mare was excellent and will go back to both. We did find time to squeeze in lunch one day at the West Deck. We also had the pleasure of meeting Peg and Tom who are both from our area at Barney’s.
I hated to leave and look forward to the trip next year already. Need to figure out how to squeeze an additional trip in the early spring to keep our Aruba Fix going. It was a wonderful week and glad to be home spending time with our grandson and family again but the morning view is not the same and certainly not the sunsets.

I forgot to mention I could not find a duffle bag large enough to bring the chairs home and donated them to a man who lives in Aruba but is actually from NH. I may dig out one of my old sea bags and bring it next year with chairs, snorkel gear and other items and just pay the extra bag fee. I hated to leave them but the cost was like taking a long taxi ride. My suggestion is for the beach hoppers to try to get those fold up chairs and place in large duffle bag. There seems to be no way to store in Aruba and finding large duffel bags in Aruba is nearly impossible.

Loved your trip reports.... frankly, you were too kind to the waiter at the Pelican's Nest..... I never would have tipped above the 15% with the way he tried to handle the bill.
