Haven't been able to post, Internet is really bad, free and high speed. Who knows if this will get posted either. Please note level of extreme frustration
to catch up ;
Ate at Rucardo's
toured with Sunrise Tours
Ate at TierraDelSol and caught up with Mike And Dorothy( mike Mattalo From this site)
Ricardo's had a petite menu, not sure why, but none the less it was good. Everyone happy with their meal. Would recommend everyone try this place. Located at ABC. Attempted to walk from here to location on the beach but the rain came and we walked on the street.
One of the best events/ tours we have ever done on the island occurred yesterday with Sunrise Tours. Run by Arias, it was beyond our expectations. We had 5 ATV vehicles and was out for about 5 hours. Money well spent. We visited the natural pool, boca prints, caves, windmills, boca grande, swam, ate, sunned.... Pizza at Club Arias later. Folks if you have not done this you are missing a side of Aruba.
Dinner at TierraDelSol was perfect. We were seated outside poolside, there was a lovely breeze and we got to spend some time with Mike( owner ) and his wife. The meal was perfect. Rob and I both had the corn and shrimp chowder, he had steak and I had grouper. For those who have not heard of this restaurant it is located on the golf course within a nice neighborhood. Taxi ride is quick.
i will expect in the next few years great things happening here. Do visit if you are looking for a new restaurant. Rob intends golfing in September. And, by the way, we are headed back for dinner next week with more friends and relatives. Brunch on Sunday's there also, unfortunately we are booked up for the rest of the week but will try next visit to the island. As Mikey says, " try it, you'll like it"....

Cindy - do you have a mobile phone down there and can you tether to it? We found a lot of wifi dodgy on the island so usually end up just creating a wifi hotspot with our mobile phone (Setar SIM card). The speeds are really fast (sometimes faster than the villa wifi) and a stable connection anywhere we go.
Love, love, LOVE lunch and dinner at Tierra Del Sol!! Amazing escargot and Caesar salad!
