flight AA 1013 bos - aua left on time but was 5 1/3 hrs in the air due to high wind avoidance. the pilot took the LONG way to avoid turbulence.

dinner
casa tua pizza
yum

weather clear

Jan 9 Fri
Dr Ras dental visit :-) early morning.
Weather partly cloudy. 80's few spits of rain drops
spent the day at/in the pool.
walked over to beach and dipped in once ...brrrrr but felt good after a minute or 2.
dinner at tulip.....paul had ribs and chicken i had chicken sate' very good and each had a glass of delicious sangria.
casino broke even which i call a win!

Jan 10 Sat
weather the same.
again at the pool with a token walk over to jup in the ocean.
dinner Liz, Katherine and I to MJs for dinner
delicious.
I only had a chicken ceasar salad which i had been thinbking about all day. Liz had the versacci steak and Katherine had the almond groper. ALL YUM.
Where was Paul?
He was at lacabana eating and did not want to come to the hen party. imagine that!

casino at alhambra lost very smokey very disgustingly stuffy and hot the place needs a major facelift or at least some COLD CLEAN air conditioning and shapooing the rugs would be smart too.

Sunday Jan 11

and we ate a late lunch so we just split a huge order of chicken wings at Cleos @ Alhambra for a lite late supper.
the wings were GREAT.
the machines were hitting except i did not know when to quit. i turned my $25 into $115 and then like magic is was $0.

right now, 10:20
stars out and nice breezes
btw, the damn tree frogs are incredibly LOUD.

You know we are all jealous from beginning to end!

Only kidding! Enjoy the rest of your stay, keep us posted and good luck in the casino. Remember that time is your biggest enemy in there. But I have to agree, if you break even you're still a winner.

Funny you should mention the tree frogs. When we use to stay at La Cabanna that was part of the "charm". The sound was "Aruba" to us!

Why is it that only at La Cabanna we hear tree frogs, no such sound at the high rise district?
