Glad you had a shockingly pleasant experience at the ear doctor's office!

Your vacation went for sure by too fast! Thanks for the reports and the many smiles!

    Safe travels!

regrets.....wishing we had gone with Plan A which would have been take out from MEME Pizza N More

however, we just did not want to trek downtown.
    shame on us.
    we got what we deserved
    unfortunately our guests suffered too.

You'll need to have something wonderful tonight to make up for it. Enjoy your lazy day!!!!

Well, just came back to edit this because I saw your post about an earache!!! Hope you get some quick relief and get to enjoy the rest of your day. Maybe sit by the pool with a couple of Margaritas!!!

Hope you are feeling better! And, if the ear is not well enough to travel you may just have to be stuck on the island for another day or two! Oh the horror!

Have a safe flight home. I can't believe your trip is over already, I thought "we" were just getting into a routine. Hope the ear is no problem on your flight.

We packed up and were out of Bananas by 10 am.
Our thoughts are now, Bananas will be our go to place!
    We loved it there.
Peace and tranquility and terrific hospitality.

We ran a few errands on the way to the airport.

I checked the clock.....We checked in at SWA and dropped our bags at 11:15. There was no line at the SWA counter.
We went thru both immigration checks, on to the security/bags check. Then thru the duty free shopping and to US Customs andretrieved our bags.
The automated passport thing was easy. Deposited our bags onto the conveyor and then we went thru security again. Up the escalator and we were at our gate (8) at 11:39. I am not sure if that is a new record for us, but it certainly seemed to be fast.

The rest rooms near gate 8 are under renovation so a walk up near the bar near gate 6 is the only alternative....and there were lines.

Our fight was smooth but COLD. I have now learned to carry a fleece blanket in my carry on and it has come in so handy!!
We arrived into orlando 30 min early.

We retrieved our dog and were in our house by 7 pm. A long day indeed. But it was not a frustrating one!

All in all it was a wonderful trip. It was quiet and restful.
We did not get to see Scott and Leslie of Scotts Brats as we took a trip there on Sunday......duh, we parked the car and began the walk in thru the playa linda and realised "SUnday CLosed" stupidly, we lost track of the days The next day I had an appointment with the dr for my ear and throat so did not visit on Monday

Also on Sunday morning we took a ride down to the Divi AI to look for Mr Ratt and walked the area and the beach and did not see him or his bride

We enjoyed meeting up with some nice folks from this forum! ( Sugar, Pegmeister and Tom, SkiChris and Gary, Nikko and family, DrDave, Amy/Mom,
    Bully and family and Ace)

We enjoyed it all!!!! (well the ear infection not so much)

Now it is time to get back into the routine of being home.
