Wish we could have made it to Bugaloe but by the time we got back from downtown I needed to sit in the ac for awhile!! Way too much walking! Looks like a fun group.

I hope the waive calm down by this weekend. I really like to spend at least an hour in the water. Glad you decided not to drive after bugaloo. Better safe than sorry.

Rest up for more fun tomorrow!
With Bugaloe being loud, would you consider it for a meet an greet again on future trips?

    unfortunately, probably not.

another good spot might be the lobby bar at the costa linda

i did however feel it good to get away from the norm and try something new.

even the pool bar at lacabana might be a nice change of pace.

Glad to see that you and Paul are having such a good time. We love the beach bar at Costa Linda, although the lobby bar is definitely less crowded, and probably a better place for a meet and greet. Wish we could have joined you all!

    we have found our spot

we have been checking out this spot for the last number of days was just way too rough.
before we headed down to eagle beach this morning, we too a look at boca catalina beach again.
this beach is 1 km from bananas (2/3 mile approx) .
again, no beachgoers there at 9:45....but it appeared to be a bit calmer than previous days!

the water was cool to start (brrrr) but we got in and stayed in for an hour....watching the beach fill up with others.

we had our sand chairs and our picnic lunch packed...it was delightful.
i came back to here for a potty break and to make a couple of drinks in our nalgene cups and am heading back now.

boca catalina beach is a great spot, clear water and a number of large shade palapas.

so that's it for now , back to our little piece of heaven.

So glad you are enjoying your trip...
Brings back so many good memories...
Sitting here drinking some hot tea with honey and speculaas cookies... (kids still think they are "spiced" cookies" but will let
    them continue)
    Continue with the posting..
