Our vacation started with an over night stay at Logan airport the day before our flight. Love this option, as we don't have to get up as early and the terminal is just a shuttle stop away. We whipped through check in and security in record time having a leisurely breakfast just 20 minutes later. Coming home was a little different with a bog down at US customs and a 40 minute wait.
Most days were spent hanging out on the beach under a palapa or in the water. The beach at the Divi is phenomenal. The waves were gentle and rolling with only one day that they were challenging, so thats when I head for the pool. We did venture out one day to go on the semi-sub out of DePalm Pier. The waters were a little murky and we didn't see the variety of fish I was expecting but the sunken ship was cool. We also saw a sea turtle on our ride out to the wreck
Meet and greet at Amsterdam Manor. Met up with Andrea and Paul along with some other folks from another board. The conversation flowed easily and this was a fun part of the trip. Andrea, I hope you are enjoying the rest of your trip! Oh and we got that taxi guy again!!
Even though the Divi is all inclusive we did manage to hit up a few restaurants; Barefoot, Matthews, Scotts Brats, Salt and Pepper; and Sole Mare (more on those in the appropriate thread)
