We are now thinking of bringing a lap top - to download pictures from the camera each night - Spiderman: Do you know what the internet rates are at the Surf Club?? If we have the lap top with us - might as well check e-mails?

Also, did they have safe's in the units that would hold a lap top?

Hi Linda,

I own at the Surf Club and I bring my lap top with me every time we go to Aruba. There is no charge for internet use at the Surf Club! There isn't a safe large enough to hold a lap top but I've left mine in the unit and I have never had a problem. Besides, housekeeping only cleans the units a couple times a week so they aren't in and out every day.

If you bring a laptop to the Surf Club, I suggest you bring a locking device to secure the computer to a table or other immoveable object. There have been several recent reports of thefts at Marriott properties.
