She had NO fun in aruba jeesh!

ok, aruba cannot be all things to all people.
i recommended my cousin and his wife go to aruba.
this was a couple of yrs ago.


i rented them my unit at lacabana for a bargain rate of $300.
it was in february 2007
how generous were paul and i???!!!!

and now on with the story......
the bed at the lacabana was too uncomfortable for her.
the pool water was too warm.
the wind made it impossible for her to keep her hair nice.
she stepped on a piece of something hard in the parking lot of the grocery store and had a sore heel. (she was wearing the 79cent flip flops)
the ocean was too wavy.
the beach was too difficult to walk on with the sand. (would she have preferred asphalt?

the weather too hot too windy too much sun

the people made her nervous
the restaurants were good, but why do they have to take so long to dine.

and her complaints went on and on and on.

then she asked for her $300 back
which i gave her to keep peace.

have not spoken to her since.

and my cousin , her lackey, offered 0 input.

Wow, some people are just never happy,you know.. how can you be miserable in a place like aruba..& if people there are slow...well you know your on vacation there is no need to rush...time goes much too quickly. Boy andrea and you even gave the money back wow...you certainly will be rewarded for that.

it was a nightmare
nothing makes her happy.
she dragged her husband to so many places and most of those trips ended early.
her worst trip in her "history" was a PONY TREK thru Ireland countryside.
when i heard the story from her sister in law i almost wet my pants laughing.
i think she has been banished from the UK.
i gave her the money back because i wanted to not feel indebted or ever have it come back and bite me in the bum.
my husband and i strongly and loudly disagreed with each other on whether to refund her the $.

WOW!! Makes me glad to be me. To be that unhappy all the time would be a horrible way to live your life.
The only complaint I can relate to is the hair thing. But you just throw it back and bask in paradise! Who is going to let hair get in the way of your dream vacation.
