Great Updates! While you are at the Surf Club - be sure to try a "Slippery Monkey" at the pool bar. If you like bananas, you will LOVE this drink. It is a banana daiquiri with rum and banana liquor. The glass has swirls of chocolate syrup on the bottom on the edges and they fill the straw with rum. So when you take your first sip, you get a shot of rum, followed by cold banana, and then the sweet taste of chocolate to top it off - all in one single sip! In my opinion, it is the best drink on the island.

I agree with your comment that Junior Rivas is a terrific tour agent in Aruba. He has been selling tours for many years and is extremely knowledgeable - and such a sweet person with which to work. If you need to book another tour, you can usually find Junior on the beach in front of the Marriott on most afternoons and in the evenings he is located on the street corner in front of Texas de Brazil (across from the Playa Linda resort).

Wednesday beach in the morning followed by a family round of golf at the divi links played in the Wednesday tornament. $75 includes 9 holes in a cart, golf Club rental, shoe rental, sleeve of golf balls, and two drinks.they also offer that on Friday. we decided to hang out at mulligans and eat some appetizers and have some drinks overlooking the golf course for dinner. Back to the casino with no luck. I looked into the comedy show they do have some very big names performing it is $34 and includes two drinks they also offer a unlimited drink package for only $20. The only problem with us is I would not feel comfortable leaving the kids alone for 4 hours. I did speak with somebody who did this show and they loved it.Chris I will be sure to have a slippery monkey in your honor today although I do prefer the bush wacker the slippery monkey is delicious so if you're watching the World Cup think of me standing at the pool bar watching the game drinking a slippery monkey.

spent Thursday at the lazy river and pool bar and then took the Jolly pirates afternoon trip. Always a good time and the kids had a ball. Snorkeled the Antilla shipwreck for the first time in a while and it was great to see plenty of coral growing like crazy on the side of the ship. I think the wife had too much rum punch and we had to cancel our plans and reservation at MJs. Therefore I just took the boys down to tomato Charlie's and had some pizza and that great sangria. hat had a good trip to the casino and walked out a small winner. I think it is reptile week at Surf Club found a very small baby iguanna the size of a 50 cent piece in our room.not sure how he made it to the 7th floor but he did. we captured him and released him in the sanctuary between the Ocean Club and the Surf Club. bought a case of Balashi at the Chinese convenience store next to Wendys 70 florin.

Great trip report! Word to the wise--we wives do not have "too much rum punch". It's "the heat" getting to us, or, "something we ate". Such excuses allow us to retain our right to nag our husbands when we think they've had too much to drink.
