TIRRELL143 in Aruba

Staying at the Divi Village. We love it so far. Last night we got in kinda late so we ate at the Seabreeze Rest. Had Prime Rib Buffett. Was kinda shoked at the amount they charge for a beer 5.00 usd each. So we dropped 100.00 on beer and dinner. Took late night stroll in the sand.

Today so far, we got up and went grocery shopping, oh and beer shopping. Came back to resort and made y wife a omlette and waffles. We went to the high rise area and did some shopping and ate lunch at Hooters, their beer was 5.50 a bottle, I am starting to see a trend here. We visited the Hyatt Casion and dropped 20.00 there,a nd are now backat resort getting ready for a afternoon swim at the beach.

Tomorrow we go on the De Palm Island full day excursion.

Again thanks all for all the advice and tips. Hope nobody minds the ranthing from a first time visitor, we are just so excited and relaxed!

YES beer is a bit pricey than the USA.

We went for our afternoon swim, and then a walk on the beach. Came back to our resort and enjoyed a few coor's light to the sunset. Cooked a nice steak dinner and went to bed. We are now getting ready to leave for the De Palm island day. We are really looking forward to this. Will be back on this evening to update you all on todays adventures.

Skip the beer. Go straight to Jack. Less filling. All the punch of a heavyweight.

PS: Have a designated driver/pilot, too.

Tirrell, did you happen to notice if there was any beach between the beach across from Divi Village and the swimming pool at the Tamarijn? OR just rocks

Haha - I decided to do a Johnny Walker Red night at Soprano's on our last trip a couple months back. We met some nice people that started buying me drinks. When we got back to our place... I realized I had drank wayyy too much. Hopped in the pool to sober up... I had a NASTY headache in the morning. I am going back to beer!
