We'll we finally did it, got on this boat! I had hoped it was all everyone had raved about. My concern was we weren't snorkelers, so how was this going to be for us.
we boarded with a total of 16 passengers, all very friendly, no young passengers or children.
The boat was perfect, we all found our "spot" and settled in at around 10'am.
There was NO wind, no breeze, and really quite HOT.
We motored past the desal plant, the new port for the containers, Renaissance island, Depalm island, a barge for drilling off shore and anchored off Spanish Lagoon.
Half the boat went off with Captain Anthony to snorkel. Many just hung on the boat and Rob and I floated in our papasans. Anthony had thrown off a rope and life ring for us to hang onto and not drift off.
Lunch was served, the pea soup was incredible, and the chix salad and ham and cheeses sandwiches were oerfect. Fruit was later passed around and the bar was open all day.
lovely day, 1 more thing off the bucket list.
i will post pictures and I imagine they'll be upside down... Sorry!
