Trip Report 10/27-11/10/07 LONG PART 1
Just got back so here i go.
Sat 27 10/27
8:30 flight out of ewr left on time and got to Aruba a little early.Went across street and gor our car from Royal.Went to the Surf Club and our rooms were ready(this is starting out great).Off to Ling & Son to get a lot of nothing,spent $175.00usd went back to room unpacked and went to Champions for dinner.Bed early .
Sun10/28
Went for an early morning walk from Surf Club to Phoenix and than off to the Marriott buffet this is our favorite,than off to the pool and some beach time.Weather cloudy NO RAIN.Dinner at Sole Mare.Very Good.
Mon 10/29
This was my first day of diving( i used Red Sail) will tell adout them later.Dove spong reef & Jane Sea vis about 50ft.water temp 82.Got back about 1pm dropped off gear and went to the pool.( ill tell you more about ocean latter.Went to El Goucho for dinner.Service was bad but the steak was very good.Went to casion left some money and went to bed.
Tues 10/30
Second day of diving went to Blue Reef & Pedermalis (Pendermalis lot a a great dive but still fun)Lunch at the pool at Surf Club than dinner at Chefs Table VERY GOOD.
Wed 10/30
Went for our early mornig walk no diving today.2min shower stayed by the pool most of the day,took a walk on beach.Dinner at the Sunset Grill at the Raddison.This place is very overratted,the fish that i had Chiill saebass was dry and had no taste at all friend had tuna that had anasty smell was sent back and the secound was just as bad.
Thurs 11/1
We had a friend with us ( 1st timer) so we did a private snorkel with Roderto"s watersports.(in front of H.I.)
Early morning shower than a 15 min afternoon shower.Went downtown to do some shoppingWent for dinner at Gianns VERY GOOD
Fri 11/2
Went for my last dive did a one tank dive and was back early.Went for dinner at Tony Romas this was our friends chice and it wasnt bad.I forgot to tell you that it rained for about 15 min in the afternoon.
Sat 11/3
Took our early morning walk and than off to breakfast at the Marriott,packed last night because we had to move to our lock out unit.Friends last day on Aruba so I took them to the airport at 3pmfor there flight to EWR.Got back and met wife at the pool.(just the two of us for the rest of the week)this is when we both JUST RELAX.We were ttired of all the running we did for a week so we tryed Tomato Charlies.Salad was great and the pizza not bad..

Went for an early morning walk and the sun was shinning bright.There was an early shower one at 7:45 and one at 8;25 for about 20min.There was a rainbow that was on the beach at Mombo that was stunning.Dinner at Sole Mare.VERY GOOD
Mon11/5
Early morning shower from 8till 9am than the sun was out all day.Went to Champions for dinner.
