We arrived for our thenth time in Aruba. Once landed we were picked up by a friend who was already on island. We rented from Toyota Rent a Car and can say, its was better then renting at airport no congestion no airport traffice no waiting for car at airport! Definatley recommend this!
Saturday - Dinner at Mirandi great as usual and awesome atmosphere!! A bit of a drive but they have reflector arrows to follow and found it with some laughs and fun. Dinner was was $105 a couple (2 couples went) We had 4 appetizers (goat cheese salad is great). all dinners were great and got a sampler for desert.!!
Sunday - Chefs Table- 5 star restaurant . I had Beef Carpaccio and manit was worth every dollar it was like a dinner !!!!! For 12.00 i had about 15 awesome pieces with a salad inside the beef!! All dinners were awseome . 4 appetizers 4 dinners and 6 small seserts $100 a couple
Monday - Gionni's- BEST DINNER - had Priosciotta (sp?) and PAsta All dinners were AMAZING, but you need reservations for this place. Sat outside and beautiful night!! Hands down one of the best ITlalian food I ever had! $85 a couple with 2 deserts and 4 dinners and 4 appetizers
Tuesday - Chalet Suisse - 4 appetizers , 4 lobster Tails (Always the best meal besides Rack of Lamb) No need to look at menu, get one or the other. DONT MISS Chocolate Fondau!! Best u will ever have!! and we shared for 4 its huge portion! $135 a couple always most expensive!
Wednesday - El Gauho - my steak was over cooked a bit but my wifes was perferct. Must get Gaucho Steak they do have a 8 oz which is perfect . Had the blue cheese wedge it was great everyone else had shrimp cocktails. Skipped desert as we had every desert on menu one year and all were terrible. $90 a couple. went to Champions for desert.
Thursday - Driftwood - Wahoo Arban Style - always great!! $80 a couple and had appetizers and desert - cheesecake excellent!
Friday - Smokey Joe's . I have been to Aruba 10x . and never tried this place. All i can say is WOW talk about a lot of ribs!! The rib platters are huge I couldnt even finish them !! And the fried oreos for desert is to die for!!
Sat - we left to come back to reality
I have been to Aruba 10x and this was the best service / food we have had !!
