Thanks for the info on the jellyfish. I was wondering if there were any in the water. I was stung on Aug. 4th. Can't remember if that was the full moon or not.

So far in Aruba my husband has treated coronary issues, someone who had an allergic reaction to seafood, eye infections, and someone who ripped his foot apart on coral! Not a bad idea to check at the desk to see if an MD is a guest at your resort!

Cheers,

Full moon was August 6. Close enough for me.

Lindon,

Great reports, I love to read happy times, I am so sorry to hear about your sting, I understand that get be very important to get some medical help. Quick note, my best freinds husband fell asleep on his patio and of course did the snooring thing, had the mouth open and sucked in a bee that stuck his tongue, when he woke up his whole mouth swollen, took some benadryl when he awoke , but needed to go to the hospital and get a shot. I have never been stung yet and hope my luck stays with me on that. I know you must be sad to be back home. YUCKKY. We also leave out of newark on the 8:30 flight in Dec. hoping as yours, ours goes smoothly

"Madame Jeanette - Again another great dinner. I had the almond grouper - my favorite. Nice entertainment and another good dessert. The chocolate souffle --Yummy. Had to go for an extra long walk after dinner."

I have been dreaming of that Grouper for 10 months - only a couple more and I can order it again.

Great trip report - no matter how many days vaca is - you never have enough!

Very nice report, and thank you for using larger type that older eyes can read.

My best guess is "Jellyfish". I looked up some info and its fascinating. I wont describe what a first treatment could consist of, save to say "bodily fluid".....

This is very interesting:
Some types of jellyfish have reproductive jelly gatherings 8 to 10 days after a full moon, thus there is an increase in the number of jellyfish found at that time

But, as long as you're ok now. that's all that matters.
