Glad you're getting back into vacation mode. Is tomorrow your last full day? Any plans?

Peg, I lost one day because it annoyed me. But got right back into vacation mode by the next night, lol. We still have tonight, tomorrow, tomorrow night. No set plans. We're going to Bugaloe's tonight. They have live music. Sunday our flight is at five. We're meeting Hans at 2:30. My husband will be on the beach until 12:45, lol...

Sounds like fun. I like Bugaloe. We didn't get up to the high rise area at all this trip so we missed some of our favorite spots. Good for your husband getting every last bit of that sun!

If he had his way, flight's at five, he'd leave the beach at four, lol.

Love Bugaloe when they have music...enjoy!!!
My husband is the opposite of yours. Funny thing we met a lady on the beach on her last day...hers, not ours. All afternoon my husband kept saying to me, she better get going and I can't believe she is still on the beach. It was making him nervous for her..lol
Not sure when, but we will be back

Well, got off the beach at five. Said goodbye to the beautiful beach, water & palapas until next year. Are going downtown to print boarding passes. Then stopping at Caribbean Queen for one last look. After that, meeting friends who come same time & are leaving tomorrow. Gonna try our luck at Hyatt.

tomorrow will drop hubby off at beach for a couple of hours. I'll come back, wash clothes, pack. We meet Hans at 2:30.

oh, today on Arashi they had that competition thing. I thing it was with school kids, young & teenagers. They had to run to the lighthouse, come back. Then next leg was run in water, swim around two buoys and come back in. One teenager collapsed, wasn't moving, gave oxygen under one of the palapas. He was unconscious for about an hour before the ambulance finally arrived.

I can't believe how many people bring their dogs to the beach. And yes, they are on leashes. I will say those who have dogs that are taken care of, are very very loving to their dogs. Always petting them, kissing them, playing with them. And I've got to say, the average person had two dogs. One came & sat on my lap. I was petting her & kissing her. The owner was calling her but she was comfortable. Lol. They had to come get her. Then the dog was playing. Really cute.

well, this is the part I hate, going home.

Glad you had such a lovely time at the beach and got to meet some dog lovers and their pooches. Doggie kisses are the best!

The moment I read that those teenagers run from Arashi beach to the lighthouse I thought, Aruba is just too darn hot to do something like this! Hope the teenager who collapsed is ok. But that sounds scary that he was unconscious for an hour!

Have fun with your shopping. Did you see something beautiful which caught your attention?

Enjoy your last evening! Sounds great meeting your friends.
