    Trip Report Nov 28 - Dec 14

My hubby & I just returned from our 5th trip to Aruba. I'm not good in giving a thorough description of our trip so I thought I would sum it up. This sums it up in three words.

    WE LOVE ARUBA ! !

let me tell you how dull we are on vacation. my husband works 6 days a week in our own business so his only time is when we go to aruba. we sit on beach all day, go to dinner and then the casino. of course I shop inbetween. it is a totally relaxed vacation. I also don't have skype on my very old desktop computer and have no laptop.

I can tell you if you're interested in shopping, lol. This past Thursday I believe they were doing a whole thing on the Caribbean Queen with TV & Radio there and hor deurves and champagne. Everyone was dressed to the nines. I happen to walk in (in my shorts no less) and was about to walk out thinking this was a private party. The manager saw me, grabbed me (I have been there like 6 or 7 times in the past two weeks (buying every time, just LOVE that store). She said you're not going anywhere, have some champagne. Then she introduced me to some other people who I think may have been higher up then her. Such beautiful things.

Oh, we went to Pizza & More now that we can find it in a snap. The 2nd time we went the oven was down so no pizza. Went to Bingo's, Casa Tua, Sole Mire, Barney's, Le Petit Cafe. And that pretty much sums it up.

We did meet some new yearly regulars so that was nice. Went to Hyatt Casino, Stellaris, and Alhambra. Went to Ritz, beautiful hotel, won $125 in five minutes at Roulette. My favorite dealer and favorite cocktail waitress are still at Hyatt. Its great when they remember you, hug you, isn't it?

Okay, so that pretty much sums it up--oh, did I mention one other thing that started our trip off perfectly. We always upgrade to first class. This year, they must not have had their regular planes so they used (United that is), one of their Star Alliance planes. First class was equipped with pods. It was unbelievable. So everything went smooth. For those interested, we come back on a Sunday. Met Hans (always a doll) at 3 o'clock and got to the "One Happy Bar" at 4 o'clock from start to finish (without checking bags and having our boarding passes already). So calculate for yourself based on that.

    Already preparing for next trip!!!!!!!

The Hyatt casino is our favorite. We have a favorite dealer there too. I find they have the friendliest dealers, and I agree, it always feels good to be remembered.
Your relaxing trip sounds great to me!
Not sure when, but we will be back
