Thanks for reporting back to us. Get some rest. I'm looking very much forward to your snorkeling adventures with Kent.

9/9- Aruba Bob Snorkeling. That says it all. The three of us met up with Stuart at 9:00 for our tour. From the moment we met, and he wished me Happy Birthday, I knew this would be something special. We were provided with all of the required equipment, got our training on the “scooters” and we were off. Since it was just the four of us total, it was like having a private tour. The first thing I noticed was the amount of fish and coral. In the past we have done other boat trips and there really isn’t that much marine life at the standard snorkel tour stops, Stuart said the sheer volume of people have chased away the fish and destroyed the coral formations. This was very different. There were large schools of brightly colored fish and many different types of coral. Stuart was an excellent guide and stopped at various points along the trip to check on us, give us instructions and to explain and identify all of the different species we saw. He did all of this while taking pictures of us to remember the trip with. When we got back to his shop, we talked about the island, where the good restaurants were (one of Stuart’s many talents includes being a trained Italian chef), and just relaxed after the trip. As we were leaving he gave me a t-shirt because it was my birthday. All in all a class act and something I’m sure we will consider on future trips. I thank all of you guys for making the suggestions to book it. It was truly something I’ll never forget. So, after that it was back to the room for some leftover Indian food for lunch and down to the pool. We played bingo, had some happy hour drinks and took naps before going to dinner. I chose Aqua grille for dinner. I had the Grouper, DW had the scallop skewer and SIL had the Chilean Sea Bass. For dessert they staff came out with a piece of cheesecake with a huge sparkler in it and sang Happy Birthday to me in both English and Spanish. We got back to the room and changed into something more casual and we were off to MooMba. When it was learned it was my birthday, the free drinks started “pouring” in. People I didn’t even know were sending me drinks. It was a fantastic end to my birthday.

I too am a huge ArubaBob fan. I was never really thrilled about what I saw on the snorkel cruises (oh look! A little fish), but I was amazed at what I saw when we were with Stuart and the vast amount of things he pointed out. You do not get that on those "3 hour tours".

Happy belated birthday. Birthdays are always better celebrated in Aruba.

Happy belated birthday, I say keep on celebrating it while in Aruba! I love how when people hear strange sounds (rain) they are confused as it is so rare in paradise. Keep on having fun Walt, hope your remaining days slow down a bit, goes way too fast.
