Thanks Walt. We're staying downtown for part of our trip in November so I've added it to my to do list. Enjoy the sun! We're headed down to the casino so that my Mystic Ruins gorilla slot can entertain me!

Our first experience with them keeps Pam (and my SIL) coming back year after year. She bought a Tanzanite and Australian opal ring several years ago. While we were here, the Tanzanite stone fell out and was lost. We went back to the store and they were so apologetic and replaced the ring for free. As we were waiting in the terribly long US Immigration line at QB airport getting ready to fly home, she noticed that the stone had fallen out again. Finding it in the immigration hall wasn't going to happen. We had the owners business card and he told us if we had any issues to contact him. Ultimately he wound up paying to ship the ring to his New York location, had the ring modified with more silver to hold the stone and shipped it back to us in Virginia. Free of charge. That is awesome customer service, and we will shop there forever.

Loved Iguana Joe's. Even got some of their hot sauces and will be heading back since I need more.

Sunday we spent another lazy day by the pool. We walked down the beach for a while and came back and faced timed the family back home. We met Kim and Darrin at Moomba and enjoyed their company. Yesterday we went to the BB party with them. There was a group from another BB there and they didn't seem too interested in meeting anyone so we hung out together and had a few drinks. As you can see from Kim's report we wound up at Cafe 080 for a light meal afterwards. I looked out the window this morning and either they washed everything down or it rained earlier. The winds have returned and that has helped out the temps somewhat. It's still hot and muggy, but not as bad as last week. Today we are running out to restock the fridge and plan on lounging out by the pool. We're hoping Kim and Darrin stop by and enjoy the lazy river with us.

I'd KILL for hot and muggy right now. Canada has decided to keep winter around just to drive me bonkers.

It varies depending on work - we try to spend as much of the winter down there as we can. We're sticking friends and family in there during non-winter months so we generally have year-round occupancy.
