Saw picture #34! Congratulations, you looked very serious while she smiled over you. Surely looks like she said yes!

Happy to see you will have picture perfect Aruba weather today! Apply EXTRA sunscreen and lots of it! This is what my Dad commonly refers to as a "Pray for a cloud type of day".

once you get done with your timeshare presentation let us know
what it was like and did they at least give you something for your time?
but you can get better deals with private owners

Great pictures. I'm so excited for you both. My daughter & boyfriend were at FF in April. I thought they would get engaged there. But he waited until they got back to the U.S.

Set the date yet?

Oh - if you see Kenny at La Cabana Pool Bar - tell him Liz said hello. Tell him I'm the one that keeps coming back to La Cabana. When he see's me - he says "your here again - you just left".

Ok. Here's the deal with the Timeshare.

90 minute presentation through Bluegreen which lasted 120 minutes (GRRRRR). They are selling you 18,000 points. Points can be used to buy weeks. So, you don't have fixed weeks. However, weeks cost anywhere from 5,000 points to 14,000 points. So, you basically get about 2-3 weeks out of the whole thing.

The cost is ridiculous. $26,500 with about $5,500 down payment. Maintenance fees are roughly $1,000 and the club fees are $122.

We both had small heart attacks and said no. They tried bringing the price down to $16,000 for 10,000 points. We happily declined. They asked what we were looking to spend. We said $5,000. They gave us evil eye, a kick in the ass and a 2 day car rental.

It's not worth your time. 120 minutes and then they try to pawn you off on someone else who has time share that they "own" and are looking to sell. Stay away from this presentation. Unless you have nothing else to do.
