Good morning everyone. I am waking up in paradise! I see lots of people post the details of their trip, and I loved reading all of those in anticipation of my trip, so I am here this morning to make you jealous. I hear there is a flood watch all across the Northeast, and I am happy to report that there is a windchill of 87 degress this morning in Aruba! (Jealous yet???) We arrived on Saturday, and went right to Smokey Joe's to guzzle down some Balashi's and devour the best ribs in the Caribbean. We also took in some NCAA basketball while we were there....can't believe Kentucky lost! We are in the most amazing room at Playa Linda, overlooking the ocean. Got lucky with a timeshare rental, and are making the most of it. On Sunday, we went right out to the beach, and I must admit, I got a bit of a sunburn, but that is all part of the experience. On Sunday night, we went out to Aqua Grill to suck on some oysters. We frequent that place, it has the best seafood! Hit up the Exelcisor casino at the Holiday Inn on Sunday night, and I must say, the cards have not been favorable......unfortunately. Yesterday, we hit up Ling's, and it was PACKED. Got home, and went right back down to the beach. It was a bit hotter yesterday, closer to 90. The ocean is perfect to cool down, and the wind is just gusting like crazy. At night, we ate in, and made the most of our timeshare. Now for today.....what to do??? Beach! Tonight.....Tomato Charlie's for pizza, and back to the casino to hopefully change our luck. Hope everyone has a good day, and I will report back when I get the chance!

Yes you made me jealous,its raining and cold,but when you are home in October We will have that same feeling of making you jealous..ENJOY your vacation

Yes its raining,, if they say drought this year, I am going to scream!

Sounds like the perfect start!! We found it to be much windier this time around than 2 years ago but I appreciate the wind with the heat! Have fun!!!

Although I am experiencing perfect weather at home, I am still extremely jealous. Have a good trip, I look forward to checking in for updates.

OHH sounds wonderful.....considering I have been sucking up water since tues night and I am just taking a break from continuing I need to hear about the beautiful weather in aruba.... Just want my basement to dry out......uggghhhh never had water in 24 years until these last two storms....(rain storms) I want a condo....
