We came to Aruba to celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary and stayed at Divi Beach Resort which was the first resort we ever stayed at in Aruba 35 years ago. Yes, the beaches at the Divi are back to the way they should be. Almost every morning a machine goes along the beach and rakes the entire beach. Very clean and very white . Our room was very comfortable, stay was very pleasant and got an extra day as our Continental flight was canceled due to the snow and ice storm. We were supposed to return home February 1. I must say the weather was perfect every day except for a few quick passing showers. If you have never been to Aruba and planning to visit in the very near future, you will be pleasantly surprised as Aruba is like no other Caribbean island. That is why people return year after year or a few times a year like we do.
