oh boy..my favorite. josef's son now runs the place and the cabbage is still just as good.
    we gotta get back there.
I really did enjoy the cabbage.... we were both thrilled with the food..... and would recommend to anyone.... The decor did make us smile.... it was so tacky. But the place including the fish tanks was very clean and again, service was wonderful.

i ALWAYS recommend the Buccaneer to folks with kids who are looking for a seafood restaurant. When our son was young, and we'd go to dinner in Aruba, he undoubtedly was bored and would pull out a book or pull out his gameboy. At the Bucaneer, he never suffered from boredom as he spent much time looking at the fish in the large tank.

How was entry into the water at Manchebo? Ricky, steep drop off? How were the waves? We like relaxing in our floats in the water.
We are looking at an inexpensive rental at ABC that is on the Manchebo side. I'm thinking we will use the palapa at ABc, but the water entry in front of Manchebo.
7 trips in and still finding things to love. #8 will be great in November!

Pure fine sand... not hot to walk on and some small broken coral pieces in the water.... but mostly wonderful sandy bottom. Entry is no problem... definitely waves and some breaking waves.... but I think the gentle swell of the water under your floats will make you quite thirsty for a trip to Pega Pega bar.....!

I'm trying to think of anything that doesn't make me thirsty for that trip. Nope...nothing yet.

Very nice photo of you and your dear wife. I am a little late reading but I will catch up. Great report and so glad you had such a wonderful time. The photos were great. Now it is time to start planning for the next adventure.
