Glad you made it without any glitches, safe and sound. Wonderful gambling. Keep it up. I also do not care for a tablet but use it because it is small. Enjoy your stay. I look forward to your reports.

I'm glad that you are liking Manchebo. I think that the renovations tremendously improved the resort. I love their mojitos. Nacio, our favorite bartender, makes my hubby's favorite brown ladies on the island. I wish that I was there, so I'll live vicariously through your reports.

CP, I feel like I'm there again! I visited Pega Pega for lunch on my November 2015 trip and I loved the manchebo grounds. Really peaceful and lazy like me. LOL. I used a tablet to write my entire trip report this month and for the first time successful. Other times I spent a long time writing and when I would hit submit it would say I was not logged on to wifi and I would lose everything I wrote. This time it worked out for me..Enjoy and keep us posted!

Eagle Beach, Glitz Casino, Manchebo Beach Resort
DW is having a massage right now.... so I'll catch up with my forum friends before I go to the casino for a bit.

First full day was just spent on the beach with breakfast at Ike's.... just ok.... another great lunch at pega pega.... I'm down to 2 amstels at lunch and dw continues with those wonder mojitos.. We don't have interest in tours or sightseeing.... so our days get pretty boring... 'cept to us! I'm lovin' the bit of a sting my skin has from the sun today.....

Dinner in a couple of hours at Mme J's.... which we look forward to all year long.... dw has already decided she'll do her usual almond grouper..... even tho she declared herself lactose intollerant.... and avoids dairy like the plague.... she'll deal with the creamed spinach sauce for her favorite dish.

After dinner it's off to the Hyatt lobby for some music and relaxing... then I'm off to the Glitz when she tucks in. I still have a comp for the buccaneer to pick up for dinner later this week.....

DW loves Manchebo best of anywhere we've stayed....... I love it too.... so much privacy on the beach and a few waves and plenty of space to be together in the water without sharing.....! The staff is great and very attentative. The rooms are very modern and the grounds very pretty!

Anywhere where I can see the turquoise-blue ocean
Hi CP! Glad you and your DW made it safely to Aruba. Manchebo sounds wonderful! I can visualize the beach, white sand, turquoise blue water, serene and peaceful.

When you order at MJ's tonight, maybe your wife can mention that she is lactose intolerant, there are great replacements of milk, based on plants like almond milk, cashew milk etc. Not sure if MJ's can accommodate but I think it's worth a try.

Looking forward reading more of your little escapades.

Manchebo sounds amazing, keep the reports coming. I do like that little area where it is, low rise but still things to walk to.

    The Pearl at Eagle Beach
We we stop at the Pega Pega a couple of times each trip for happy hour. The bartenders are fun and dangerously free pour. Ouch!

Back to the beach til sunset with another coupla... you guessed it.... mojitos....! Got DW to the room and showered and went over to Alhambra..... don't love this casino... the video poker at the bar is silent... so my 4 deuces for 1,000 didn't make any noise.....! Hit a couple of blackjack tables for modest wins and another video poker machine for a modest loss and left with a nice pocket full of 'playing money' for later in the trip....! Got back to the room, turned in by 11:30 which is the earliest I've ever tucked in here.!

Manchebo is a beautiful property with the biggest beach of any resort on the island. DW loves it and so do I. The people are really great...!
